Furthermore Ba and Cisse are very similar type players. Yep granted they may be international team mates but dont read nowt into that my black and white friend as I belive he would have gone to any prem club prepared to pay the wages, loyalty means nowt in football these days. By the way, its emerged on several news sources tonite that Cisse was never on our radar anyway....As such I trust our manager whole heartedly

I think Cisse will be a good signing for the toon but would he of been a good signing for us? The lad has a fantastic goal scoring record but thats all I know, can he play upfront on his own or does he need a strike partner? Is he a big lad who can hold the ball up or what? If he cannot play the lone striker role then I wouldn't be suprised if we wernt in for the lad, we need someone who can play upfront by themselves and get goals like fellow namesake Djibril Good luck to the toon though, they have the options to play 1 or 2 up top so if he can physically cope with the league then I am sure he will get goals for them, they have a pretty exciting team now IMO and are apparently in talks with Lyon for Cissoko, a player who I would love as our LB I trust MoN though and even if we sign nobody this window it would not bother me, our squads good enough to get us a top 10-11 finish
