    Firstly, the no.9 is just a shirt, it was the players that were iconic.

    Secondly, the pictures would have been done in advance, along with all the media side of the transfer.

    Interesting that he was Pardew's first choice to replace Carroll and that we tried to get him in the summer but the move was blocked.
