Calm down all ffs. It's disappointing we're not in the lead but we really ought to be and have created chances. With Buz in the team we at least look threatening from set pieces. My worry is that tiredness will set in given 10 of these played two days ago and MK conveniently had their game postponed.
Still i expect somekinda playing morale....Still the last 20 min was something ,mind you in both ends
Macheda looks terrible. Buz our best player so far, is it me or are his corners and free kicks 100 times better than bartons or tararararabats? 50/50 if we win this one
So many poor performances, confidence at an all time low. Buzsaky head and shoulders above the rest, with Bothroyd and Macheda the only one of the rest that seem to know what their doing. We're dominating without creating, MK dangerous on the break and have come close on a couple of occasions. The need for a big strong CB is evident with Ferdinand dominated by Ibehre, embarrasing for Anton. If SWP had just an ounce of confidence he would have rounded the keeper an tapped it in. Mackie look lost in space, a waste of space as well!
Missed the first 25 minutes but after that we didn't look that bad. Better than at their place anyway, and better than them. Don't agree with whoever said you can't tell which team is from the higher league, but we have two terrible records to overturn and the nervousness of the players is obvious.
Don't know whether it's the bad feed I got or not, but it looks extremely frenetic, League 1 standard! Noone seems to be able to make space. Buzsaky has done well, and a nice pass from Macheda for SWP who as usual wasted the chance, but thats it. Dons look as likely to score as us. Christ we need Adel in form !
I think the worry is this is our strongest team we have available until we get players in which may take another couple of weeks. How are we going to beat established PL teams if we cannot outplay, out class, out fight a league one team. No disrespect to MK Dons but its a fact.
All credit to Neil Warnock. He sent SWP into the MK dressing room after the last match to shake hands with all the MK team. They seem to have caught the "couldn't hit a barn door" disease. Nice one Neil!
They seem to be getting the majority of the decisions from the ref, which we shouldn't be surprised about these days, I guess. Macheda isn't cutting it yet, like to see Helgs on early 2nd half if he doesn't change. There have been a few good balls pushed out wide, which they don't seem to deal with as well, so more of that please. Seems to be our best chance.
Half time - Gabbidon looks crap, Boothroyd looks good as does Buzz. Macheda needs to start looking for space as. SWP all you need is a goal to sort out your confidence. What I don't understand is Ian Wright, Ginger Winger Strachan and Andy Townsend.....what have they got in common.........they don't like Rangers. what a terrible desicion from the ref in Derry goal, their keeper was the one hugging Derry... we really should be 2-0 up, Derry + SWP... just hope it gets better 2nd half, some promise already in the latter part of first
