At least you'll be owned by the proper mafia this time, not a knock off version.

You may mock HR but Cala-mity Joe sounds ermmmm <yikes>

So we could become the first club to move into an underwater stadium then all your fishy jokes will take on a whole new dimension :emoticon-0105-wink:

God help us - why do we attract the nutters?

Imagine how cool it would be if we had a new stadium built underwater in the Solent somewhere. Probably beyond the Isle of Wight.

Build it at Blackgang Chine, and it probably would be underwater within about 10 years <laugh>

If a team, playing in our new, under the sea, Flatfish Park, defends for 85 minutes then go on the break, and score a late winner, could we call that a "smash and glub" raid?

3rd eye, the following quote had me in fits of laughter:-

"Having failed to get that project afloat, he is now eyeing the embattled club in England’s naval city. After the son of an arms dealer, a Gulf “millionaire” who appeared to have no money, another who may not have existed and a Russian banker wanted for alleged asset-stripping, Pompey’s sixth owner in 30 months could be a businessman already dubbed ‘The Man from Atlantis’."

"The Man from Atlantis" - can it get any more amusing than this ?!..................

I know Wooperts, it's even better than Calamari!

It isn't on the Telegraph page now but even Chanrai tweeted a sneering comment at him and his claim to earn 30% fees from his introductions in Hawaii.

It is such a good job that us Pompey born people have such a good sense of the ridiculous <laugh>
