Some possible bad news regarding Cabaye. Just heard he was spotted at RVI with foot in a big protective boot. Apparently he and Derek Wright looked miserable as ****. Hopefully not as serious as it sounds!! <yikes>

Makes sense they'd have his foot in a big protective boot regardless of whether it is a week long injury or a season long injury. Derek Wright pretty much always looks miserable too right? <laugh>

Seeming as Pardew said he might be back next week, I doubt he would say that if it was that bad

Quite possibly bullshit. I doubt Newcastle use NHS stuff, probably Private. Also, not sure Derek Wright would go, Newcastle have had 5 or more club doctors for years.

Pardew said they might not even scan him, and that the doctor said it looked fine. Rumours are very easy to generate (Hesakmi <laugh>), wait for club confirmation.

Private often means you see the same consultant as works for the NHS, just a lot faster.

Not that I believe it either, just saying.

Fair replies I had reservations when RVI was mentioned but thought I would put it out there anyway.

This doesn't sit right. I just find it hard to believe this when such specific details are mentioned

Surely same formation we went too after Cabaye went off if he isn't fit? Raylor and Guthrie holding, Best, Jonas and Ben Arfa behind ****ebag.

Not that I'm buying this or anything, but I'd assume Gosling/Guthrie would get the nod ahead of Taylor/Guthrie

Raylor player there on Sunday, and did a pretty decent job. I always thought he would be good here. Good creativity, and a good free kick. Not enough pace or trickery for the wings or the full backs
