We dont know that Cisse snubbed us the club has not confirmed we were even in for him. I love the gossip & rumours but until the club confirms we are interested in any player it is all ****e.
Seems a canny player, but his agent is a greedy ****er by all accounts. We came close to getting him during the summer but with agent and signing on fees the amount he was worth almost doubled.
According to Chris Young on Twitter (reporter for the Echo) Papiss Cisse never on the SAFC hitlist of potential transfers, so we're getting wound up over a player we weren't even in for!!! Keep the faith, MON will keep us right!!
There's greedy and then there's making a club pay around £14m-£16m for a player when the selling club is only going to see around £7m-£8m of it! That's not your everyday agent greediness!
Totally agree. Who says he has snubbed us? Have we made an offer? I have said that I know nothing about this lad apart from a few stats and excitable fans. Am I alone in being totally unmoved by all this?
Was brilliant. Went to Rustique for dinner. It was superb. And just walked around and sampled a few pubs. Was a lovely ouple of days.
Nope I trust the team in charge. Also not sure can chatch too many above us so as I said on another thread an idea chance to get our unproven strikers some game time to bring them on for next season.
been bumping on about this lad for ages on our board and would have loved to have signed him until the shock news today would be a class signing IMO......well until you sign him then the usual rules apply
Team him back up with Sess, they know each others game already, could be a good move, I think he is decent player
