Posted on: Tue 17 Jan 2012 Blackburn Rovers have this afternoon reiterated that Chris Samba is not for sale. A club statement reads: "Blackburn Rovers reiterate that team captain Christopher Samba is not for sale. The player signed a new contract with the club less than a year ago which runs to June 2015." http://www.rovers.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10303~2580173,00.html Short, almost goons like. What do we make of this then? Discuss.
Personally, I don't care - I never wanted him. I wanted somebody better. Alex is OK, but if we were to get Samba, would the two of them fit in the middle? I don't know, I didn't feel anything there.
Blackburn Rovers have this afternoon reiterated that Chris Samba is not for sale. )- we need to say this to placate the fans but just dont tell Barclays bank...) A club statement reads: "Blackburn Rovers reiterate that team captain Christopher Samba is not for sale.( say it enough then people will get off our backs) The player signed a new contract with the club less than a year ago which runs to June 2015." (so you will need to up your bid as he is ours for three more years and if you dont that means we will have an unhappy player with us for that many years come on show Venkys the money show me the money) I believe that is what the Venkys were saying to themselves when preparing that.
Both Alex and Samba are better than we have, and are probably the best at their current (former) clubs. Both, please.
Still think Liam Ridgewell is worth a punt and shouldn't be too dear. Young Alex Ridgewell A N Other....good back 4 to my mind.
More interested in striker talk, our goal scoring is far worse than our defending at the moment (which is saying alot).
all they are doing is saying we have a player, and if you want him give us 8-10m and you can have him, and they want a bidding war. the rumour is rangers offered him 80k a week thats more than spurs will pay
Any new signings will be down to MH to get them to play together and that will take a lot of time ... Gorkss and Connolly would be great by now as confidence and performances would have grown ... The swans back four are already getting looked at as being a good unit as is Norwich ... its about keeping that pairing together for as long as you can ...
Samba will continue to refuse to play, they wont get the money and will have to sell someone else to ease the financial woes, in other words they get even weaker than they would if they sold him.
Exactly this!!! DT dosen't speak too often. ( He's always gallivanting abroad. ) But if you overlook the hilarious gobbledygook, what he does say , makes a lot of sense...ironically!
