"Is it Sky's fault that Bolton are £105M in debt?" Of course it isn't, more likely the impressive stadium that they play in.
Back from my French class with the new teacher. I don't know if she had been forewarned as to what to expect, but she did look a touch nervous at the start of the lesson. As usual things do not run in an orderly fashion, and today was no different when one of our number came out with the belief that she has a homo-sexual cockerel. It seems as if it makes a run for it whenever approached in a friendly manner by any of the hens. Not sure that in its self it is sufficient to question the birds gender, but I have come across the odd bird that has kept me shuffling on my way.

I gues syou could say it is indirectly Sky's fault. It is their money that the Premiership use for prize money. All these teams are competing for this prize money, so they spend hoping for the windfall - and just to stay in the 'promised land'. They are all spending to try and make more... Obviously they don;t have to, but then they will soon get relegated and lose this prize money! When I worked at the footy club, my boss told me a football club is like a fruit machine. you keep pumping money in, in the hope you will get the big pay out. Sometimes you get it, sometimes you suffer a heavy loss, and sometimes you get some money back and know when to walk away...
Just read this story in WO. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/news/9471712.Will_Russian_spacecraft_crash_into_Watford_/?ref=mr It is such a non story that it is funny. Is there no news in Watford these days or is it that the journalists are so young. They all look as if they are still at school. AK why is Iceland playing Turkey in Dunedin? I assume there isn't another Dunedin other than that in NZ, unless Dunedin is Icelandic for Edinburgh
Questioning the bird's gender or its sexual orientation? I blame the 60s...hens think they can get up to anything these days...they'll be wanting full suffrage next
Oh wow, The Steptoe's v The Bletchley Stealers on the radio tonight - now there is a match that I could not care who loses...
Noon tomorrow and unless something is worked out Darlington FC will fold. Tonight it looks as if some last minute talks are going ahead with someone prepared to invest £150,000 that will keep the club alive for a further ten weeks while more details are worked out. On the sports news tonight there were pictures of their manager, until yesterday, still turning up to put the juniors through their paces. He must hope that tomorrow afternoon he has a paid job again.
He's just been described by the commentator as not quite up to premiership standard, so maybe 'poop' is the wrong word? Mind you, the same commentator earlier stated the Sean Wright-Phillips gets his footballing genes from his dad - apparently forgetting that he's adopted
i didn't hear that bit, i must have still been growling a bit! Oh dear! i missed that too...how bizarre!
Blimey, he's been scoring for fun lately..though..Dagenham aren't much of challenge i wouldn't have thought..
