I'm beginning to think things aren't going to end well with Benny. I get the feeling there's a hissy fit on the horizon. Seems to be talking to the press a lot recently instead on knuckling down and earning a starting place.

 

Hahaha. Add that to the list of things the 80's is responsible for. I've noticed of late some fashions from the 80's coming back. Why oh why, they were **** then, they're not gonna be trendy now!

 

Well, he seems like an OK lad, just a little bit stroppy at times.

You can understand his frustration though, he's getting goals and setting up chances and proving time and time again that's the most technical player in our team, yet he's not getting starts over ****ing Bambi Ameobi.

 

I know exactly how he feels.

My old man (God bless his soul) used to beat me to within an inch of my life every night before bed time but even though he never told me he loved me; I know he did due to the frequency and the attention he gave to the beatings.

It never did me any harm and made me the man I am today.

It's those little things that give feelings away and if I were able to communicate with him today then I know I'd say to him that I love him too and apologise for killing him and feeding his body to a pack of starving pigs.

 

Unfortunately Pardew's looking for someone to lead the line, win headers and hold the ball up which everything HBA doesn't do very well. I think we'll see HBA behind Best at some stage but Best doesn't get his head in like Shola does.

I despise fashion these days...Although to be fair, I haven't really followed fashion ever - I used to think I was Matt Hoffman riding about on my BMX when I was 12 and I've not changed much since...Give a pair comfy jeans and trainers and you stick your ****ing shoulder pads!

When I saw the jeans with the elasticated bottoms, that was the point it became like an episode of dragons den - "I've seen enough, I'm out"! I see chinos are back to, just not as I knew them. And this drop crotch stuff is just untidy.

I found myself starting conversations at the office Xmas patry with 'When I was your age...'

I decided to drink myself into oblivion once I caught myself doing it.

 

My biggest 'fashion' hate is those stupid boots that people like The Wanted wear that don't tie up to the top. Look ****ing rediculous. And twats like One Direction all copy them, so every teen twat in the UK wears them. Get some ****ing shoelaces.

Oh My God what has happened to you lot. Have you re read this thread? It sounds like you’ve turned into a bunch of birds. You started on Horoscopes and family relationships moved onto Fashion and feeling old whats next knitting patterns and swapping recipes, chatting about your kids?

Maybe you could all talk at once about different topics and somehow understand whats going on or call it a conversation.

Back to Footy i think Ben Arfa gets alot of attention in the French media due to his undoubted skill and reputation as L'enfant terrible, they are waiting for him to either do a Barton or grow up and turn into their Gazza (in a footballing sense rather than off the field).
