Agree, god know how Luiz gets in the team before him, rather try to get Onuaha though as he covers full back too, but if he aint for sale them Alex will add strength to the team.

Well if he's gonna improve the squad, at that price let's get in there.

£2million is insanity, we could get him and Onouha for £5million combined?

    That would be stunning business.

Aye, that would be the back sorted out. Would just need that elusive 20 goals a season striker then!

Which may be Cisse, if the stories (which are ****ing everywhere, including a quote from the player..) are to be believed!

Fingers crossed Billy, we have the manager, and with a couple of additions, we might be the team we thought we were pre-season!

I love it me, the rumours and speculating!

I understand why many don't mind.

Anyone mentioned N'Zog yet? Robbie Keane? No?

I think he'll be off to one of the bigger clubs which can pay him £80k+ per week. As said in the article, this is likely to be his last big payday of his career.

It's alright saying only £2 million etc, but I'm quite sure the wages these players are on will be way above our limit...

Must admit I love it too! But sometimes I feel like I'm gonna combust!

It's even worse this year with MoN in charge!

Probs a big wage for a player not needed Billy.

He did spit his dummy out at being dropped, but at least that's the right reason to be pissed off.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

If you look at our out-outlay over the last two close seasons, so I'm talikng about back to the Summer of 2010. All documented transfers for both seasons were detailed on here. You will be very surprised to hear that after all the money we have spent, we have also recouped a surprising amount too.

Without these figures at hand, I can't be exact, however, considering spending between 15 and 25 million per season is not a vast amount these days, which equates to 40-50 million over two seasons, we are no where near being that much in arrears.

2010 season we are supposed to have spent something like 25million but recovered 18 million selling players
2011 season we have spent but we have the sale of Henderson etc.

I bet someone can come up with the figures that'll show we are in the pink and in a very healthy position !
