Don't want him out of the North West as then I wouldn't get to hear Stuart Hall pronounce his name Nnnnnnnnnnnn'Zonzi on the radio. He's already lost Nnnnnnnnnnnn'Zogbia, poor man.

If rumours are true re N'Zonzi and Cahill i'll be a happy man. Our lack of airial strenght in the middle of the park is a worry, with Ali injured, one of these would be welcomed.

Are there any BBR players that we haven't made a bid or shown an interest in?
I find it slightly worrying that were targeting players from another struggling side.

Disagree bob, decent tackler decent passer had Wenger sniffing around him a few seasons ago. A solid def-midfielder imo!

Doubt #QPR wil get Nzonzi out of Blackburn but if they do it'd be clubs best signing for at least 20yrs. For once a worthy big-money signing

I'm with Dave on this one. Commanding CM with a thunderbolt shot and some sublime passes (se assist v Fulham), big threat on set pieces as well <ok>

Blackburn have got Samba, Yakubu, N'Zonzi, Hoilett , Dann ( who we all wanted in the summer) all of whom seem to be highly regarded ( and I'm sure I've missed a couple - Formica?) so Kean must be really off the pace as a manager for them to be where they are. Or perhaps some of these aren't as good as they are made out to be.....

Four or five players doesn't make a team SB73. Yakubu has overperformed but the other four you mention are very talented indeed.

Sounds like a good spine to the team but if they are not setup well, tactically utilised depending on opposition then they will be ineffectual aka our season so far. There is also the behind the scenes antics going on regarding the owners, money, bank loans etc it sounds strange saying this as this was the situation we were in not so long ago.

you forget that Blackburn are in the position they're in because for 4 or 5 games they were without Dann, Olsson, Givet and Nelson which make up the majority of their back 4. N'Zonzi would be a fantastic signing if we could tempt him, obviously as would Samba. Naturally Blackburn won't want to sell their players, but if they are resigned to losing them i'm sure they'd want to do it before the deadline so they can at least replace them. IMO I think they'll want to wait until after this weekend where after Everton they have a 10 day wait before their next game. I would expect a LOT of movement after this weekend.

Thanks Norway, it only seems appropriate as I'm sure they're marked Everton as a game they could get 3 points from, and regardless if they lose players its still 3 points towards safety. Just think we need to sit tight, we should have enough to beat Wigan anyway especially at Loftus Road, then the signings will come flooding in, and likewise we'll have around a week to start gelling as a team.

Yeah ,you're right with this one norwy. Only his thunderbolt shots rarely hits target (72 matches 3 goals). It's the same as Faurlin ,good player but cannot hit the barn door from inside of it. But if the other qualities match with Ali he'll be good signing.

If were going to play a 442 we need two defensive midfielders in the middle and he fits the bill. Him and Faurlin in the middle next season would be great.

It also weakens blackburn even further so its a win win for us.
