These four are likely to leave in the next six months in my opinion -

Coloccini - 4m wont sign contract

    Ba - 7-10m release clause

    Tiote - 25m Big club

    Krul - 12m Spurs?

but how much would it take to replace them?

    Cb - 6m

    St- 8m

    Cm- 5m

    Gk- 4m

    50m in

    25m out

    what do you think?

I'd be a bit surprised if Colo left. Not sure where he'd go really, can't see him going to a premier league club (he wouldn't want to trade down, the only club he'd fit above us is Spurs. I doubt they'd do business). Even if he went back to Spain, he'd probably end up somewhere like Deportivo again. I doubt he'd do that.

I think Colo and Krul will stay long term definitely.

Tiote and Ba, well I think they love NUFC, it all depends on the club coming in for them. If Man City come in for either, then I'm afraid it's bye bye, but if any other club come in form them, I don't know, If we finish in the top 6 then I think we'll definitely keep them if City aren't the ones coming for them.

lol oh dear, the prize for most depressing thoughts on a tuesday morning goes to....

I'll be honest, I don't think we'll shift all of them, and Colo will sign if we get into Europe I reckon...

Your a grump! We've got to decide as a club whether we are building for the future ( Europa/CL) or simply a feeder club for wealthier teams.

No reason to sell our bargain buys. Recent contracts are not the stupid Smith/Xisco etc ...........the only expensive contract player I see still playing is Colo. Might trade him as Saylor returning in May and might get a CB.

I think Colo will be sold in the summer. The rest I really don't know about. For me, Colo is the most important player we have...it'll be suicidal to sell him!

Why would he be sold? Pardew promised him captaincy for the next 4 years if he stayed, and to make that sort of offer, you've got to have the backing of the owner, as a manager you can't just offer things like that out like cup cakes.

With where we are supposedly at now as a club financially, we are in a position where we don't have to sell our better players. Now those are the words of lambias, but he is a liar. We have to decide whether we want to kick on to the next level or not and that starts with holding on to our current stars. Sadly these decisions are left with the 2 dick heads running the club. Ideally, we should be keeping what we have and sticking to our transfer blueprint and bringing top talent on the cheap. It's not like we spend the earth on transfers these days so funding our signings shouldn't be an issue. We don't live in a perfect world though.

It has gone very quiet on the contract front with him and I have a bad feeling about it. After what MA has done in the past I just can't trust anything until Colo is confirmed to have signed a new contract. I hope he stays but I just have my doubts.

Not even someone as thick as pig **** about football as Ashley would be stupid enough to let Coloccini go, with the lack of depth we already have in that area.

It has to be said, these next two windows are the most important in our recent history. If we keep what we have and add a couple of new players then we really could be top 7 for many years. If we just sell and replace with players who could or could not make it then we may have to accept that this season (so far) is just a one off.

If someone came in with say a £5 million offer and the chance for Ashley to take someone on around £70k a week off the wage bill in the summer he would probably snap there hands off. He would then buy a couple of cheap replacements on less than half the wage and hope that they make it. Sadly that's how he thinks.

    Harper
    Ranger

I'd prefer that selection to yours <whistle>

*I haven't lost all hope of him becoming a cult hero if he has a few more Xavi-esqu moments <laugh>

Why would they leave when we are going to win the league <diva>

In all seriousness, if we get Europe I don't think any will leave. Even if we don't get Europe, I can only see Tiote moving in the timescale mentioned.
