<laugh> I have no issues mate, my dads a ****, end of. I just hate it when you seen these weirdos taht are *****s or murders and there excuse is " I never had a father figure". What a lot of old bollocks. I had a better upbringing that most folk I know with "normal" families. Its up to you and you only what path you take in life not how many bloody parents you have or how much love they have for you!!

I did read that. I'd have never got in. I'm a Scorpio and he felt you couldn't trust these scorpio born players, hence Pires could not be picked.

He certainly is an interesting character, he seems very intelligent and articulate too from the interview with l'equipe. Looking back, it seems the leg break probably did him some good as it allowed some time to reflect on how he'd been a bit of a knob up to that point.

He obviously needs to be in a certain state psychologically to be at his best, let's hope Pardew can find it. And stop playing bloody hoofball.

Ben Arfa has always struck me as a nice guy, but also a little bit depressed.

People should shut the **** up telling him to man up, different people handle it in different ways and just because you might be able to cope with it, doesn't mean he could.

I'm not saying it's an excuse to be a bit of a **** to the coaches, but you can at least under stand why he'd have some problems.

I sympathise with him and I'm glad that he's starting to improve his attitude.

Jock you would have had to be driven out to some natural setting tied and held up using barbed wire and then had your head chopped off with an axe. Sorry that was the last episode of CSI I watched wasn't it about the slaying of vampire/werewolf. Nevermind, Domenech may have seen you as a utility player!! Haha Well provided that you're not between scorpio and something else. In which case he'd have seen you exactly as you suggest.

Just remember that lads, you can't trust me.

I might have guessed you would have stuck up for him Tash, similar personalities (1 knife short of a cutlery set) <laugh>

I am in no way having a dig a Benny but he is opening himself up to ridicule by saying these things in the press.

I reckon more people are likely to empathise with him than ridicule him. It's not like he kicked someone in the head and is trying to use that as a defence. He's saying "I'm a pretty angry guy with a short temper who feels lonely and misunderstood. This is perhaps the reason why, and I'm trying to work out how to get over it". Fair play, Hatem.

Being a genius and being a nutter are not mutually exclusive. A genius will often work outside the social norms, due to their minds working in a different way.

All this Dad to love him malarky is a bit clawing, I'm lucky in that my Mam n Dad are still together (30 odd years) and I've had a very stable upbringing, but I can't remember telling either of my parents I love them/vice versa since I was a small child...for **** sake, the first time my Dad gave me a hug since then was when I went to Africa for 2 months. I don't feel like I've missed out on anything, we all know we love each other, we just do so with a quiet and composed dignity...then weep about it when we're drunk!

I think I'm just out of touch in reality Jock. Obviously it is now seen as a positive to air all your dirty laundry in public, and for a man to be firmly in touch with his emotions. If that man can then express those emotions in words, even better.

What happened to drinking to forget eh!
