Henrique wants to come to Loftus Road

Brazilian striker Henrique has said he is desperate to complete his proposed move to QPR.

Rangers are trying to thrash out an agreement for the 20-year-old Sao Paulo player, who is likely to move on an initial loan deal - if he obtains a work permit.


Hughes has impressed Henrique.
His signing would be a coup for new R’s boss Mark Hughes, as Henrique has attracted interest from numerous European clubs since starring in last year’s Under-20 World Cup.

“I know a lot of clubs are interested in me. But when I spoke to Mark Hughes and QPR, they made me feel very excited about their plans,” Henrique told The Sun.

“I want to go to a club with ambition and to play in London would be a fantastic opportunity.

“The manager is known everywhere. He played for great clubs like Manchester United and Barcelona.

“As a striker, I know I can learn so much from him. I’ve always wanted to play in Europe, and England has the most exciting league in the world.”

As I said on CB's thread he's the only one i can see signing tomorrow. This coming from WLS and David McIntyre makes it believable, Dave's been tweeting this for a couple of days now.

QPR have reached an agreement and Henrique will move to QPR subject to a work permit

 

Cheers Dave, was on the cards. Would be great to get someone through the door sharpish. Hope that work permit goes smoothly.

 

How long does a work permit generally take to get?

 

I know a fella down the Mile End Road who can get you one in minutes....spelling might be a bit dodgy though

 

Theyve got to play 75% of international games or be proved an outstanding talent. Winning player of the u20 copa america and being top scorer should help us.
