cheers for the interest lads. Just on the train home now. chilworth lass ran okay, we were a little disappointed she didn't improve from last time but it was sticky today. She's not a complete rag at least and its always great to get up close with the equines and their keepers. sheena was fun, she hung around having a drink most of the afternoon, usual no-nonsense horsey lady. And plumpton is a nice course actually, quite little so you can see a lot of it. Even backed that pretty penny so made a bit on the day. Good times.

Good luck with it Chesney. Looks like she ran OK, the non runners may have flattered her position a little but as you say ground is tacky/sticky and a real stamina test, she's only 4 and will get better and stronger. I'll be very interested if she runs another so so race on soft then gets thrown into a handicap on good ground.....
we're not expecting much grizz. the way she runs you can't really hide her ability. all good fun tho.
