Very sad the way that this club has been dragged down to the brink of extinction..

 

All their players and their Caretaker Manager have just been sacked by the administrators, Jesus Christ

Sorry - no sympathy for anything Darlo related - 2 reasons

1. When I studied at York one of my housemates had a bird from Darlo - when they were shagging she was a real screamer ("noooooooooooooo markieeeeeeeeeeeee noooooooooooooooooo not again again again again") made athe rest of us feel so bloody inadequate; and

2. While travelling back to York from Newcastle after seeing my bird cos I had a revision week (no screaming but an occasional grunt of disappointment!) I had all my files stolen off the train - all found in a bin at Darlo station (all except for the Criminal law file) theiving sod

That said - sorry to see any club close

I feel sorry for the players and manager as they had no control over the financial running of the club.

Believe you me when you put your heart and sole into a business that is owned by someone else and their stupid business decisions means it goes bust...... words cannot describe how frustrating and sole destroying it is.

 

Yes my nephew was at their academy (U15 Goalkeeper). Has been told not to turn up for training tomorrow. He is devastated. It is not only the players it is everyone concerned with the club.
