I assume this January chap over-rated, English, and only available for a large fee? If so, let's snap him up!
Depends. If his touch resembles that of a malnourished walrus and his finishing that of a semi-dead Andriy Voronin then sure. If it's any better than these requirements then we'll pay 20m for him. If he's better than the 20m band, then we won't buy him at all.
Zaha is a very good player! He caused United constant problems in the Carling Cup, Very pacey and very good technically aswell. I think we should wait till the summer to make these sort of signings, improving our first team should be our priority now
Gossip page is reporting that we have turned down an offer to swap Bent for Carroll... WHY? I'd have Bent over Carroll any day. much closer to a £35m player then Carroll is
Big man turned us down once, hopefully we can entice him..... http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/media-watch/reds-eye-llorente and Granero is picking up steam, think he would be a superb signing for the skill set he brings and money. If llorente is true and works out you could have Suarez, llorente, Granero, Gerrard... hefty attacking force that! http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/media-watch/granero-eyes-reds-move
There have been a lot of rumours about Granero recently, would be a great buy for the money! The agent of Real Madrid's out of favour midfielder Esteban Granero has admitted that he would relish a transfer to Liverpool. Teofilo Lazaro has spoken out about the future of 24-year-old Granero, who has slipped down Real boss Jose Mourinho's pecking order at the Bernabeu this season. And, he revealed that the £8million-rated midfield man would be happy for a move away to secure regular first-team action elsewhere, namng the Reds as a possible destination. In an interview to International Business Times, Lazaro said: "He's finding his chances limited at Real. He's keen for a move away - possibly to Liverpool. If he can't play at Madrid then he'll play somewhere else. It's as simple as that."
Gorbbelaar thinks we will be signing a striker very soon: http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-n...belaar-liverpool-will-be-signing-striker-soon He only hints at a South American striker playing in Holland, the only play I can think of and know we have been linked to before is 20 year old Uruguayan striker David Texeira from FC Grogroningen.
Does sound very exciting. I would love a player like Llorente as I feel he would suit the Prem Leauge and will do what Carroll should have done. Moussa Sow has come out and said it would be a dream to score in front of the Kop. (Source: Sky Sports) He was the top scorer in the French League last year. Of course some will argue that the league isn't that strong but it still nice to be linked with a player who can perform at a relatively high level. Heh as pace and power and still only 25.
It wouldn't be a transfer window without the annual 'Liverpool fan' potential signing. Wasn't it Aguero last time?
mate of mine is obsessed with youtube of sow... i took one look at his stats for scoring in that french league and think... phook that.... it aint all that impressive. YOu want the guy who's breezed the league he's in and is head and shoulders above the rest... plus has pace to burn.
You still never know though, Cisse was a better scorer than Drogba was and who turned out better? I would take Sow for about 15, at least gives us better movement, pace, and he can finish ( although stats this year aren't as good). I like the Granero link a lot though, I hope that comes through soon. Need something a bit more creative in midfield.
Yes please.... 20.42 GMT Twitter talk: Lille striker Moussa Sow. The 25-year-old French striker has been linked to Liverpool in a “dream” £8million move. #LFC, says @liverpoolscout. KK don't do it, tell arry to **** right off..... The Daily Mirror reports Tottenham want £20 million from Liverpool for striker Jermain Defoe.
You can't blame harry for asking the question. We are prone to overpaying!! Needless to say, we should stay well clear obviously.
