"there remain parties interested in either injecting funds into the club to enable it to continue operating or acquiring the club."

Get the **** on with it then.

Axed their manager and all their players. That's mental. I can't see a way back from that.

It's business. Couldn't care less if another business goes under.

Marc Bridge-Wilkinson's Twitter is a pretty depressing read right now, but an interesting insight into what life is like for a footballer at the lower levels, where you don't have to be so careful what you say.

Very sad. Can't see them coming out of it now. A big casualty.

Nope, not one iota. Doesn't effect me in any way shape or form, so couldn't give a toss.

Looks like endex for them. Of course the people that caused it aren't the ones that suffer.

wouldn't say i'm a fan, no. But i do hold a somewhat objectivist approach with some aspects of my life. Everyone does.

Too many people do, I'll admit, but not everyone. It's a ridiculous philosophy.

It is a small club that spent more than it had. I know loads of clubs have done that, but really, it is a miracle how most of them have gone to the brink and survived (and in the process not paid debts that may well have cost other companies jobs).

Really football has to put its house in order and I think more and more that clubs have to fold completely for other clubs to sort themselves out. Darlington isn't big enough to send shock waves through football. A club like Pompey, maybe.

Sorry for Darlo fans, but they are better off starting their club again from scratch and run it right this time. Not their fault nutters like Reynolds got them into debt by building a 20,000 stadium for 4,000 fans.

My supply of sympathy for clubs in trouble is all used up now.

Anyone know if they've got any youngsters we could give a home in our Academy?

Probably sounds like an awful thing to say.

That stadium looks amazing, such a waste.

It's an almost exact copy of St Mary's, but with around 10 less rows of seats. Built by same company (Barr) too.

I'd happily take it off their hands and play football on that pitch :p
