It wouldn't even be vaguely antagonistic if it wasn't for the LOL.
Nice to see that he gets it.

I don't like that kind of stuff. Players shouldn't be getting involved in the rivalry in a negative way. I don't like it when Wilshere does it and I don't like it now Benny has done it.

i understand what you mean YV, to an extent...but surely...are these not the same players that you appreciate if they stop half way through their shopping to pose with fans for a photo or signature etc...why should they have any affinity with the fans then?..at the end of the day you could argue they are not at work anymore so why should they??

they are human and have such inclinations to have passion in some form or another...and people like Wilshere(as much a twat as he is) and BAE are the type of people that like to mix with us normal mortal folks.

Going on Twitter to announce your pleasure at a rival losing is negative, stopping to take a picture with a fan is positive. They don't have to do either and so obviously the latter is to be encouraged whilst the former should be stopped.

I think you're mistaking what I'm saying, I have no problem with them holding whatever views they like on other clubs and they should feel free to express them however they like with their friends but on a public forum like Twitter they should be behaving in a professional manner.

  10. Quite right YV <ok>

Although I think the phrase "professional manner" cannot be applied to a player who wears odd boots, drives a Smart and is "indifferent" about football!

Oh, I know it's the Fail but this interview last year was HILARIOUS...

I love this bit and I think it illustrates why some players have fallen out with Redknapp:
"I enjoy my life at Tottenham. I like Harry Redknapp. He is cool guy. I like him for not making us stay in a hotel the night before home matches. He trusts us. Treats us like men."

Some players clearly can't deal with that responsibility and abuse the manager's trust.
It probably says a lot about them, too.

Its pretty immature and whenever i read about players giving their views on twitter first thing i think is "you look like a complete nob" i mean wasn't there two man utd players posting comments such as "how can the city player moan about the red card, two footed tackle is a straight red FACT" thats the sort of comment a little boy will post online to wind people up and here we have 100 grand pw "mature" men acting like "WUMS" on twitter.

I got more respect for players and managers that act like adults, do the job they are meant to do on the pitch, take their wage and go about their life in private.

Oh, as for the topic! :D...I don't Twitter, so do Manc players comment about the others results on occasion? If they do along with everyone else, so what, every single NLD prompts a player from each side having a little dig in the paper, is there a difference?

    <laugh> that guy's a tool.

He's a very poor Alex Song, was lucky not to be sent off against us (clearly couldn't cut it) and he's acting as if he's made it with his sh*t clothing line - DENCH!!! I'll be sure to buy a shirt soon, bog roll's running low.
