Not bad for a fat bloke eh? no one gives Lampard credit for assists, he used to beat the likes of Xavi and Fabregas some seasons. I've never understood why he's disliked!

Also why is it on the Utd board as well? Unless you want to start yet another endless Lampard vs Scholes argument?

 

Showing people another side of Lampard's game which is always overlooked, he has more assists than Paul Scholes you know, Lampard has 114 assists.

Course he had more assists - Chelsea have generally played him in a much more advanced role. Same reason Shearer and Hasselbaink have more assists than Joe Cole from fewer games.

Harry Kewell and Florent Sinama Pongolle has a Champions League medal. Medals do not mean an individual player is the best. It's the team that win medals.

Scholes is one of the best players I've seen, top midfielder and model professional, I won't take that away from the Mancs. However, nobody can deny Lampard is also a world class midfielder and model professional .

 

So by your methods of comparing that means Torres is better than Messi and Ronaldo because his won a world cup medal
