Clearly Rodgers doesn't rate Dobbie at this level but he was a very good attacking midfielder for us in the Championship ... Dobbie & 1.5-2 mil cash for Maynard tops IMO, otherwise look elsewhere.

Dobbie + 1.5 Million would be a great deal considering he can go on a free in the Summer. I really rate Dobbie at this level...so BC would have got a good deal there IMO

 

Watching the game today, would Maynard be a starter for Swansea?

I have to agree I thought they were fantastic to watch.

Apart from what I saw today can any Swans fans say how is Caulker getting on, he was class for us

 

Swansea don't need Maynard, played some quality stuff and played Arsenal off the park

Caulker is absolutely useless and Spurs should cut their losses and sell him to us now for £500,000

Yep, Caulkers crap. Will never get in the Spurs team. Perhaps we should bung Harry a mill for him, but better not tell the taxman.

I'd say easily. The guy is class and play play football too. Like Rio Ferdinand but mean.

 

Our best hope for Caulker is that Spurs panic buy in this window pushing him further down the pecking order and he comes back on loan. If he ever went on sale we would be completely outbid, after the way he has performed so far.

 

we havent got over him since hes left which is quite sad really, something about caulker in our team that just made you feel a bit more safe, again quite sad seeing as the lads 19

i cant see spurs selling him if hes proving himself with you, they might introduce him into there team next year with perhaps just a short loan instead of a full season, really happy he's doing well and we were part of his way to the top, which i hope he achieves

 

I can see Maynard fitting into the Swansea team after that performance. Plenty of clever balls for him to run onto and scraps to pick up. As an impact sub he would do well. Not sure he would keep that up for 90 mins but he has the potential.

Must admit Swansea look superb and play football the way it should be.

No thanks to Lita. Been there done that and he was nothing but hassle when he was here unless he's grown up considerably

 

I'm hoping that the Maynard deal is dead.
