    I'm a libertarian if anything.

I voted for Lib Dems in the last election as they had a good student manifesto and good plans about drugs (decriminalise them all, educate the youth on the proper dangers and maybe consider taxing some of them which would take us into a modern, more mature era like Portugal & Holland before us where their youth actually consider it to be very uncool & not something to dabble with because it's "naughty").
Unfortunately I don't think even they expected they'd get into power so a lot of their ideas fell by the wayside & through a lack of popular opinion their great idea for Proportional Representation which was watered down into the Alternative Vote was defeated.

TBH all three parties are the same differing only by varying degrees of sameness, we don't technically live in a free country (no constitution) & we don't really have a democracy as our leaders are decided by big companies anyway! As Bill Hicks once said, “I'll show you politics in America. Here it is, right here. 'I think the puppet on the right shares my beliefs.' 'I think the puppet on the left is more to my liking.' 'Hey, wait a minute, there's one guy holding out both puppets!'”

I know there's a whole conspiracy around the city of London corporation but this article about the true power they yield is pretty scary tbh: http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2011/oct/31/corporation-london-city-medieval
The corporation was one of the reasons Cameron has effectively created a two-tier Europe through the recent disagreements with Germany & France over debt-management deals as London/City of London was effectively going to be given less power.

IMO we definitely wouldn't be in any sort of financial mess if it wasn't for all of those at the top of the pyramid scheme known as capitalism & big companies actually paid their taxes (look at our very own chancellor of the exchequer Osbourne, he dodges £1.6million in tax alone by keeping offshore accounts & the like), it's a ridiculous figure (£120 Billion) that's lost through tax evasion (infinitely more than the £1.1 Billion which the government reports as lost through benefit fraud).

Seeing as I am not white, I have no idea how to take this. Perhaps a hammer to my face should suffice! <yikes>

It's not like it was a few years back, there is very little to differentiate between the main parties now, the days of radical differences in policies seem to be gone.

Having said that I've never voted anything other than labour. Could never bring myself to vote conservative.

See Portugal, a world leader on literally nothing else but drug policy. They've legalised possession but increased the penalty for dealing, meaning addicts no longer have the 'I'm a criminal' stigma, or the shyness in talking to Frank/Franco. Drug usage rates have plummeted, as have cases of HIV and other dirty needle diseases/infections.

Whaddya mean, public health wasn't your number 1 concern?

We have our own government in Gsy. No party politics, instead you vote for individuals who then get grouped together into committees to run the place. Believe me it is a ****e system, your party political system is better.

Ironically your elected government is my voice for foreign affairs even though I don't get a vote. Not fair really. If I get blown up by a terrorist pissed off at our foreign policy I think I should at least have the consolation of knowing I had the chance to vote for or against the policy.

Pisses me off when people say they're tory/labour. This isn't your ****ing football team, you should vote based on their policies. Cameron's done a decent job so far from where I'm standing, the **** we're in economically was caused by the previous government, by and large I think they've done pretty much everything they could've.
