I'll read it in the morning mate, can't be arsed to read all of that now after seeing it, but from what I've seen of it, there look like there are plenty of arguments, and criticisms of it, and it's too much to take in for me at 10pm.

Yes but most don't forget that it was the Tories that sold everything that made Britain great to private companies and closed the biggest industry and money maker the UK had! Black Gold!!

So do I but what shouldn't be allowed is migrants coming here just because we are the only country in the EU to give child benefits etc and then starting a family. It is tearing our country apart.

But why make cuts to the NHS though?

And there are people all around the NHS that are losing their jobs for no good reason. They just have this ridiculous idea that certain workloads can be dealt with by one person, not 2 or 3.

It's like in certain departments I worked in. The team I got put on were happy as larry when me and another lad got put on as assistants because they were up to their cocks in work, and it relieved so much stress off their shoulders. When we got let go, they were pissed off.

Obviously the government thinks that stress and huge work loads isn't an acceptable excuse for certain people to do a job to a less than acceptable standard, even though they have to do more work than usual now there are less bodies in the office, and they aren't getting paid extra for it.

It is an interesting arguement. Yer the reason I told you to read it was because it is too late and I am too lazy to write up about it but it certainly makes you think!

I agree with you. The problem with hospitals currently is that their are too many managers not doing enough with insufficient front line staff. Maybe get rid of the management to free up money for more staff on the floor. Would probably help you get a job too mate.

I'm sorry but anyone slagging the NHS either has a ****ing ****e memory or isn't old enough to remember the NHS under the last Conservative government!

Labour DID spend too much, you're right, but as far as I understand it (I'll be honest - my financial/political knowledge is limited) but our deficit currently sits at £50bn, which means every year our government spends £50bn more than we actually have...In order to improve the deficit we need to reduce Public sector jobs (sorry lads and lasses, its a fact) BUT also increase private sector earnings...To do that we need to encourage small businesses, but more importantly, stop allowing MASSIVELY RICH companies and their CEOs the right to abuse our market, make loads of money and then allow them to pour everything into tax havens, essentially giving them cake, letting them skull **** an entire country of gingerbread men and then eat it!

The conservatives HAVE done some good things, however all perspective governments would've made cuts - they simply had to!

And Chappaz, you said something about the conservative government always having to clear up Labour's mess....Thatcher's government eradicated jobs in the NE and then replaced them with......**** all! We're heavily reliant on public sector jobs because with no industry up here, they were the only jobs the government could provide!
