What annoys me about people entering our country is that the majority come here and start a family and claim child benefits. No wonder we are in a recession, there needs to be a different policy in giving benefits.

Look at Australia, they allow migrants in the country if they have a useful skill or trade that can benefit them.

Not now it wont because we didn't start the policy earlier enough. But if it was applied 25-30 years ago around the time the Aussies did it, I believe we would live a totally different UK today.

This is a literally the first post by you which I have got actually angry at.

As it happens, I would have voted Labour if I hadn't been 5 DAYS too young. (I do Politics and Economics at uni, so I was a tad pissed...)

Spot on. We let too many people into this country who offer no advantage to them being here at all, and a lot of them don't even speak English.

This, and young mothers should not be moved above hard working people for council properties, just because they're little sluts that got themselves pregnant. I know it's ignorant of me to assume every young mother is a slut, but how easy would it be for a young lass to get herself pregnant, on-purpose, just to claim benefits, get herself a house/flat or what ever?

Also young mothers get moved up the lists for certain part time jobs as well.

Spot on, we should have an immigration policy like Australia's! Only let skilled people in who will help the economy grow, make sure they have a job lined up and a certain amount in the bank. Thats how it should be done!

It would be a bit self defeatist to vote UKIP after claiming you'd never vote Tory wouldn't it?

At voting age I'll probably vote Green, or maybe Labour (simply as the best of two evils. It's more an opposition to Conservative policy than support of Labour's).

I guess there's a lot of people like me who don't see any real party that appeals to them.

This is a good time to mention this again:

    http://www.politicalcompass.org/test

It asks you questions and places where you are politically on a graph. You can also compare where you are to where political parties and leaders throughout history have been (includig all 2010 parties in the General Election - I was closest to Green).

It's worth it, trust me! <ok>

I can offer one about my dad who has been in NHS run hospitals 3 times in the last 15 years and each time has accidently been given medicine he's allergic to despite making it really clear to the people treating him the 3rd time as he was fed up of it happening

I've said this for ages mate, and I still say it a lot now, but I keep on remembering that It's got to a point now that it will have little effect. The country has already gone down the ****ter because of our lenient policies, and the government isn't just gonna start kicking people out is it?

This is a load of premium horse-****, I'm afraid. I don't blame you - a lot of people get the same impression. However:

    - You couldn't raise a child on child benefit alone.
    - The issue with council properties is that there aren't enough of them - Thatcher's right-to-buy scheme would have been the best thing in years if she'd built houses to replace those sold, but she didn't, so we have shortage. Bitch.
    - This is a personal belief, rather than a fact: nobody gets pregnant for monetary gain, even if they could.

My family have an active role in the NHS, My mam and 2 of my sisters are registered nurses. My youngest sister is an aspiring Psycologist and it is of my opinion that the NHS is overworked in areas by the British public. People visit A&E and their GP's for the most ridiculous things like a cut finger or the common cold, either put a ****ing elastoplast on or drink plenty of fluids and overload on vitamins to help your immune system. You don't need to waste the NHS resources and funding for **** like this!

It our own fault the NHS has to use unnecessary resourses in certain areas!

Do you think though that people should be denied to live somewhere they want just because of a random act of chance?

I think people should be allowed to live wherever they want. Who is anyone to tell anyone else that they can't live on a certain area of the Earth?

Cuts have to be made, because of Labour ****ing the country, yet again.

Lot of people that hate the Tories, really are forgetting that the country is in a mess, because of Labour (yet again).

Basically what Chappaz said in page 1.

It's because the government (Mainly Cameron) are too stubborn. We will end up in the same situation as Ireland and Italy very quickly. Yet Cameron decides that our government won't help others in the eurozone who are suffering with debt. So now when we do hit rock bottom who will help us?
