I'm actually trying to get a job, but the job center, they don't even check for verification that you've applied for the jobs you claimed to have.

I could just walk into the job center on tuesday, hand in my note book and lie about applying for a number of jobs, and they'll say "well that's great, k thx bye".

They don't even look it up and contact the employers to confirm whether or not they have received and application from the certain person.

    Rules need to be stricter.

    1. Tash doesn't strike me as someone who is happy to sit on the dole, but there is a big problem with people who are happy to live off of benefits
    2. I'd rather have the best possible people doing the work than inferior people just because they were born within a certain nation's boundaries.

Was it the conservatives who said people without work have to do community service?

Completely agree. I was unemployed for just under a year, and whenever i went to sell my soul (sign on), they didn't check **** all. The system benefits those who can't be arsed to look for work. My idea is, if you don't actively seek employment, your benefits should be cut, or stopped if you continually rape the system.

    1. But he seems to be quite picky. I lost my job the same time he did yet I've been in employment for months now. There's plenty of jobs out there, there's absolutely no excuse to be unemployed for so long
    2. I was just making a point, I honestly can't wait to get the hell out of the UK and start my life in Canada who operate the same scoring system as the Aussies

Good idea. teaches discipline to those lazy spongers who can't be arsed. Plus it helps you get a job in the future, gives you something to just chuck on your CV.

The pic doesn't tell the whole story, but it certainly shows where the Conservatives priorities are at.

Couldn't have out it better really.

The idea should have been put into place ages ago, so at least a decent portion of the foreigners in this country today would be of benefit to this country.

Instead we've just let any random person come in, and they'll be applying for all different types of jobs.

I'm not trying to sound racist, but I don't see how letting a load of people over from different countries, to set up a take away or a corner shop is going to help the country.

Those sorts of jobs aren't amazing jobs but they at least something, and most people in this country would take any job now. As long as people are employed that's the main thing, and these sorts of jobs could be what people who were born in this country could be doing.

I think the simpler jobs could all be given to people that were born here, and if some foreigner with good qualifications, shows that he could do highly skilled job, better than someone born in this country then fair enough. And if they have an idea of a good business or something that could help the nation, then fair enough.

We need to be selective of the people we let in the country.

Anyone who bothered to listen to how AV actually worked realised it was for the best, unfortunately nobody could be arsed <doh>

I implore you to read about something that is called the lump of labour fallacy. Immigration has little to no effect on employment in this country quantitatively.
