Can't understand why DJ is not getting a game. He has shown that he can score in the Premiership. Couldn't believe it when Macheda was brought on before him.

Is he fit? Someone (sorry can't remember who) was suggesting that he is still recovering from the effects of his virus.

Id have had him or Macheda on for Bothroyd, HH and JB are too similar to play together, we need someone making runs off them and someone who can finish, JBs shot from that great HH setup was abysmal, it was pub team stuff.

Judging by his attitude at MK, I'd not have even put him on the bench.

That said, if that thought was applied consistently, HH would have been the only out and out striker available today.

Judging by the state of him at the Mk game last week - he is unfit & overwieght!

Thats probably why he didn't come on. Not suprising after the long list of injuries he has had this season

Agree entirely. Even if he was lousy at MK give him the full 90 minutes in the replay as a final chance to redeem himself. He is a proven goal poacher and just what we need alongside one (not two) big guys. He should sart instead of SWP. I believe he will show greater desire and self-belief and should benefit from knockdowns or flick ons in the penalty box.

I don't think that Mark Hughes has already decided he is not worth a look. He does have a lot of players to look at and only a few could start today. He has now seen Betty, SWP and Tommy Smith. Next?

Give him a chance on Tuesday but when he came on at the Emirates he looked woefully out of shape and positionally clueless. I know he scored 13 goals last season, but for the life of me I can't figure out how. I remember him when he was at Birmingham and the Blues were delighted to see him go.
Right, all set up for him to prove me massively wrong, I hope.
