It really isn't a pointless statement, you're misinterpreting what he means by it. But this will go round in circles I can see, as I'd only be repeating what I've already said in attempt to explain it so we'll have to leave it here I think.

I'll agree Tash! Last season there were a lot of matches in which we SHOULD have won, and didn't. This season we're pulling out some wins in which we haven't necessarily dominated play, but have made the most of the chances we've had. Secondly, pointing to how poorly QPR played is silly by critics, because who is to say we'd have played so poorly if the opposition had upped their play? Thirdly, those saying we can't keep our status if we play like that, did anyone see how poorly Liverpool and the other clubs chasing us looked yesterday? Good grief.

I'm glad we won. Shola was indeed ****. And I hope we buy an attacking player or two so we have a few more genuine, consistent goal threats.

Tash being an arsehole as usual, actually agreed mostly with the player ratings for once but still unable to take on other peoples opinions without brandishing them as stupid or irrelevant. Grow up kiddo.

Guthrie MOTM for me. Immense performance given he's only just back from injury. Gutierrez, Best, Collo, Santon and Ben Arfa were also very good.

The first 20 minutes was the worst I've seen us play all season, and if we were playing against a better striker than Jay 'miskick' Bothroyd we could have been 3 or so goals down. However I was impressed with our second half performance.

"Just one thing I need to get off my chest. To all those who were saying Shola offers more to the game than Best, you can seriously **** right off."

    AHMEN TO THAT

Theres a word for people who think Shola offers more and that word is "indecorous"

Im inclined to agree i thought most of the team was decent today we just diddnt have the final cutting edge or composure, i thought Ameobi was awful.

Guthrie though won man of the match for me when he skipped past a player with a pirouette made a surge forward then did another pirouette on the same opposing midfielder in the opposite direction, oppening up loads of options for the team to build an attack from, then played a smart pass, it was towards the end of the game and it just showed class and quality, exactly what was needed at that time in the game.
