what motivation is there for the players to give 100 per cent . None . You can play as crap as you like and you will STILL start the next game and STILL get paid full whack. Seriously, i can't believe what i saw. Firstly i can't take anything away from Swansea's terrific win, congrats to them. But how on earth can we be outplayed for the majority of the game?!?! We really strugged to match them at times and get our game going at all. Despite our defensive injuries, we did really well but the real problem was our lackluster midfield performance. Swansea's closing down and energy all game long paid dividends and Dyer was outstanding. Contrast this to Arshavin's inept performance and subsequence substitution with Henry completed another embaressing performance. Did you see our bench? No wonder we lost, absolutely no quality at all! But i don't know what is more embaressing, having a player past his peak being the best player on the bench, or having to rely on him to dig Arsenal out of a hole, AGAIN. Shameful.
Well my friend he did spend except that he did it very late, very hurriedly and it was a panic buy.
