fantastic game for a neutral, starting to think its going to be tricky getting anything at the liberty!
tbh we got beaten well last season and i expect the same again this season. they are a very good side at home and seem to be picking points up away aswell.
The thing that might go in our favour is, they might take us lightly. Also, we are a very dangerous team away from home and Lambert will remember last seasons game where we didn't deserve the result we got. No doubt its going to be a very tough game, but aren't they all.
yeah, but they werent even scoring or drawing for a few games at the beginning. Todays result shows whats possible for us next week!
Swansea only 2pts worse off than us. Bearing in mind that QPR finished above us both last season it just goes to show how much they ****ed up with their transfer strategy!
Personally, I think our best chance to beat one of the top 4 at home will be the Chelsea game. Torres is bound to score though.
It sounds like they're going to do exact;y the same thing in the January window. Its going to take them a while to bed all these new players in.
Am I the only person not to have a problem with the Swans doing well? They have a good team playing good football, a good young manager, and a great set of not606 fans, ready to praise opposition teams who play well against them! I hope they stay up, and I don't mind if they overtake us, because I'm confident we'll stay up too!
Ive been saying the exact same thing. Usually a side who comes up beat at least one of the top 4 sides and i feel the chelsea game is our chance for this.
agreed, i like them, they play an attractive game, and have conducted themselves well throughout. Also i don't think they are a relegation candidate, so don't feel their success threatens us in any real way. and after this result they'll be the darlings of the promoted sides, taking a lot of unwanted focus and attention away from us! Softly softly catchy monkey and all that...
Alan " i saw them last season a couple of times, they looked good" shearer has been proved right now Listening to 606 and someone text in saying holt and nathan dyer should be called up to england squad, best english performers in there prospective positions atm in the prem... hear hear, couldnt agree anymore!
I understand that Carra, and if, at the end of the season, one of us has to fail, naturally I'll want us to prevail, but I really don't think that will happen!
I am really pleased Swansea are doing well. They have a lot of good players and have built sensibly. Will be a good game at the Liberty
I like them alot and wish that we would adopt a little bit of their passing and keeping posession, there are times when it would be a great help. Rogers has done almost a better job than Lambert
