    Well...
    4 points from 6

Billy is back to save the season!

Somma and Howson on the way back!

    Snodgrass is back!

    Still in January, more signings?

Snodin says 'We don't know why we start bad, we will tell them to start better' :smiley-finger007: <yikes> <laugh>

Snodin says 'Becchio is closer to fitness every game' and 'looking better' <whistle><laugh>

Were only a game away from being back in the play-offs!

Best away support in the league :) <diva>

    We all love Leeds!

We can still do this! :smiley-finger007:

That's more like it!!! Seriously though 4 points from 6 and, dodgy sending off aside, it could easily have been 6. We need to recruit well for the rest of the month. Currently I think we're in the odd position of, exactly the same as last year, being able to achieve promotion as well as miss out on the play-offs completely. We need a couple of players to push us up the next level.

4 points from 6 sounds healthy with 2 home games coming up. Win these 2 and were in the play-offs. <diva>
Delph on loan. A right back and St Ledger and we'll be away with the mixer! Paynter to save our season! <diva>

Billy, Billy he's our man! If he can't do it.... oh ****.

In all serious we're a win off the play-offs our season hardly needs saving.

Dont be such a negative WUM! Theres no doubt Billy WILL do it ;) <diva>
Jokes aside mate, I'd say our season is in trouble, 9 clubs and one team (Blues aren't classed as a club to me) are better off than us. It's tight, but Paynter will squeeze us into the play-offs then fire us into the prem. <diva>

We played yet another well-organized team yesterday. I think the Leeds United Cup Final Factor has made its return. Reading, Barnsley and Palace have all looked amazing against us at the back when we know they're average sides in reality.

Palace had two big bastards at centre back heading everything out of the way. Eight or nine men behind the ball all the time after the sending off, which actually galvanized them defensively. Every time we tried to play it on the ground, four Palace players would be blocking our way into the box. It just looked impossible to score however we tried it. Speroni was brilliant in goal. Just a shame that we conceded that first goal, because our peformance was one of a winning side and if Pugh hadn't given away possession cheaply, we'd have won it 0-1.

We're an average team, but we know we have a mental advantage over other sides in this division with the squad's spirit. When teams start writing us off again, we'll confound expectations and go on another great run. An away point at Palace isn't the end of the world for any Championship team and we're still close to the playoffs and recovering our form. We just need a way to solve the issues up front. Snoddy can't do everything.

    Leeds-18 :)
Morale of the story: Don't concede so early on, then teams may actually have to attack is in the second half <diva>

<ok> Our first half record definitely needs improvement.

Was that your first away BTW? Sounds like you enjoyed the day. :)

Yeah mate had a great time thanks!
Bit nervy at first and almost a bad start to the day when I went to buy a program. Group of about 5 Palace fans started mouthing off at me, but luckily a few Leeds fans were close by and they soon moved away.
Thought the fans from both sides were good, the WACCOE was enjoyable when it got going. Great experience for me, had a good laugh when someone close to me tried to start a chant and fell off his chair <laugh> People round me were sound as and all in all a great day :) You going to Bristol?

Hopefully a few of the transfer rumours come true before next game...although not the Heskey one.

I think it must have been too long since I've seen Paytner play, because I'm actually thinking he should be given another chance. He looked decent when he played those 2 games with McCormack at the end of last season (and by decent I mean, McCormack did well to make chances for him but then he missed).

I tripped over my chair at one point too. <doh> <laugh> Some genius obviously thought that putting massive metal dividers between every seat was a good idea.

Bristol City would be a nine hour round trip for me and would cost a fortune, so I won't be going to that. It's a loyalty game too thanks to them giving us a ridiculously small allocation and I'm one game below the eight-game minimum. March will be good though with Boro, Hull and Miwwaww on the cards.

By the way, was it just me who was amazed by how many cockneys were in the Leeds end yesterday? I know we have big support down there, but I've honestly never heard anything like it when following Leeds, even down South! Not having a go at them, it was just very strange to barely hear a Northern accent.

Paynter can't do much worse than Becchio or Forsell. McCormack played well again yesterday, think he was playing in the Howson role given how far he was dropping. At least Billy has a footballing brain, his movement is better than Becchios. I'd put him on the bench next match and give him a good 30 mins. Tempting to start him!

Then he fell <laugh> Ironic <laugh> Those round me were Irish, spending the weekend in London and determined to get me to go on their 'pissed n pullin' trawl <laugh>! Had a great time with them though n I even managed to get a couple of pints outta em at half time <cheers><diva>
