Hill? I would not drop Hill. He has been defending better than Traore. He isn't so skilful and doesn't set games alight but we need him as a backup no matter what, unless we get two quality LBs in.

I'd certainly drop him from the team. His passing is dire and he's too slow. We have to thank the reliables from last season and send them on their way.
I don't see why people don't rate Gabbidon though. I'd keep him in the squad.

Doubt we'll get much before the end of the window. Whilst our players did their best today, they're not quality enough. Agree with Col about Gabbi.

I've not been that impressed with Traore at left back - he too often goes AWOL

He did impress on the left wing against Stoke, and I think that he's better suited to that position

It is our forward line that isn't working. Whenever another side scores it invariably feels like a defeat is on the way

It's our lack of movement that alarms me the most. Watching on TV today, you could see that every time we have possession there's cack all on ahead of the man with the ball. We need movement and creativity, married with a cutting edge up front!!

Bang on Col ! Its the one thing that needs to change at grass roots aswell as at QPR. we are too easy to mark and very statuesque which was a feature of Taraabts drop in form! He could do things on his own in the championship but doesn't have the movement from other players in the premiership. I actually think he could link with macheda well as despite his faults the young Italian has good movement off the ball!

Fair point. I have been saying for the last few months that i felt our real probs lay with our midfield. We can't do the basics well. We simply give the ball away way too easily and way too often. We have conceded way too many goals from bad passing. Our midfielders don't/can't drive forward with the ball. Our movement is so poor. We can run all day but that's not enough in this division. Simple as. Our defense is poor, we know that, but IMO they are taking way too much of the blame. Our stats don't lie. We don't create enough and don't score enough.

Yep...but we need movement up front. HH isn't mobile enough, although he's done great this season. Macheda does look like he has good movement, but I'm not sure he's the answer. That young Brazillian may have a bit about him?!!

Reckon most of the players you mention will be in the 25 even if we get new players in. There were others in it before January we we haven't seen much of lately who'll be left out first I think - Puncheon gone, Dyer injured, Ale injured, Perone, not played since August or so, Connolly, Hall. That's 6 there, doubt more than 6 new players will come in.
