Outstanding player and MoN has got the best out of the lad, on current form would get in anyteam in the league. Comparisons about who is the better player between him and Ben Arfa are daft, both good players but Sess is to good for us IMO, good enough for a team in europe, easily!

Bargain at 6m! Need to tie the lad down to a new contract and bring in players of a similar quality and a couple with the same ability on the ball.

Had high hopes of Gyan and Sess terrorizing defences this season and if MoN can get him to sign a long term contract and get Gyan back for next season and at his best they could be great, would still love to see another creative player with the same flair that those two have in the midfield.

I was literally just about to make an article about him. Since MON took over he has stopped wastefully shooting and looks for a pass instead. With a proper goal scorer with him our attack would be fantastic.

    Long-term contract please!

I watched Ben arfa today and saw nothing to convince me he is anywhere near the player Sessegnon is.

This, was having the conversation on the mags board yesterday and they all seem to say he is better then Sess. Having watched him today looked a canny player but nowhere near the level sess is at atm.

Classic case of the mags overhyping some of their players.

Our performance was ****, and we played hoofball. He's not going to be able to do his thing if we were we lumping balls to Shola.

He's better than Sess but at the end of the day, you can think what you like.

You've watched him in one game and you're making that judgement?

That's unfair, Ben Arfa totally changed the game when he came on today. He was very good.

At the end of the day look at the goals he's scored for us so far and ask yourself, could Sess score them quality of goals? Could he ****.

Sess is a class act and I think we need to offer him a new contract ASAP, keep him happy and keep him at SAFC. How long have we needed a player like him? If he was playing for someone like Barca people would be talking about him being worth millions.....

He and Gyan, I am sure would make a great partnership.

You can think what you like. He's played what 15 games or something for you? He's scored two great goals, admittedly, but ****ing Tchoyi scored crackers last year. I think he's quality but this feeling he's better than Sess seems rather unjustified imo

HBA is a canny player but the Mags are totally overrating the lad

I read that post as well and some were saying he could play for Barca or Madrid one day he has massive potential to be world class

If this was the case he wouldnt be at Newcastle n lets get this in he wouldn't be at a club like Sunderland either he would be at a top club.

There is the players that fulfill there potential and those that don't

    a good example

Ben Arfa and Benzema came through around the same time for Lyon and were realy hyped up

One plays for Madrid and bangs the goals in the other has been a sub for most of newcastles games this season.

HBA will never play for a team like Barca or Madrid, neither will Sess

2 goals. TWO. ****ing hell. He couldn't score the one against Everton, but he could definitely score the one against an awful Blackburn defence.

    15 games?

11 games, but only 5 starts.

He's scored 3 cracking goals and got like 3/4 assists and has set up loads of fantastic chances.

The notion that Ben Arfa is better than Sess is very much justified by the fact that Ben Arfa constantly creates good chances in all of his games, and scores or comes close to scoring in most of his games.

Ben Arfa's shooting, passing and ability to create good chances is far better than Sess's, that's what pushes HBA that level higher than Sess, Ben Arfa's final ball is miles better.

    You are a pathetic twat.

So you're saying that goal he scored against Blackburn was because of **** defending? Complete ****e. It's a big risk sticking a foot in against a player liek Ben Arfa and you need to time your challenge on him perfectly or it's a penalty. It was a fantastic run, good skills, his movements were too quick for the defenders and it was a great finish.

The Everton goal as you said, Sess couldn't score.

And his finish vs Bolton, Sess couldn't do that either.

Ben Arfur or how ever you spell him was poor in my opinion. He was very wasteful with the ball. Kept trying to take a man on when a simple pass would do. You can see why Pardew doesn't start him. He doesn't trust him. He hasn't played enough to be very highly rated Imo. Maybe he needs a run of games? Sess has been improving with us as the season has gone on. We are just seeing the best of Sess now.

Sess does exactly that. From what I see Sess is better in beating his man and is a lot more difficult to handle than HBA is.

If he is so good why isn't he starting every game?

He's played in the champions league and shown his quality against top sides. And he's also been great for us, despite suffering injuries along the way, one major injury.

The fact that he started playing as well as he has only months after returning from a really bad injury is quite phenomenal.

    Thanks. <doh>

No I did not say it was because of **** defending. I said it was a poor Blackburn defence. Was it not? Sess could score a goal like that for sure.

I don't really see the point in discussing anything with you tbh. You're so ****ing bias.

Not really, he hasn't been playing every week because Pardew didn't want to rush him back after his injury, and because Pardew's tactics for the recent games meant Ben Arfa hasn't been able to start.

Your best team doesn't always consist of your best players. It's about the players that are right for the game plan.

Ben Arfa has start games when Pardew thought it was right for him to start, and brung him on as an impact player when he thought it was best for him also.

Haha, well when I see Sess score a goal like that, I'll eat humble pie, but I've seen Sess plenty of times now, I think he's a cracking player, but HBA is a level above him.
