    anyone know what happened with the drop ball in the spurs wolves match at the end. they said a bit on final score and it sounded as if spurs wanted to shoot from the drop ball and didn't want to give it back to wolves.

    Johnson and the keeper clashed and both fell to the floor and stayed there. Instead of telling the Spurs players to kick it out or give it back to Wolves he allowed Spurs to contest a drop ball. About 7 players surrounded Ade and got the ball away. And there was a foul in the box on a wolves players after the dead ball anyway.

    so was it the refs fault? or was it spurs not doing fair play and giving the ball back?

    Both. The Spurs players clearly thought the Wolves players just did it to waste time.

    They hadn't taken a point off Arsenal in over 20 years or something like that before the fixture a few days ago. One of the reasons I was so annoyed with not winning that particular game.
