Just had a spine-chilling moment, 5- Champions. 1) The most succesful driver to have ever lived, trying to revive his glory. 2) 4 Young guns. 3) Many more suprise (dark horse) drivers..ie.Rosberg. This is F1 guys, and we have nearly arrived my friends.
This era will be remembered as one of the greatest of all time. The only missing ingredient for me is Kubica being out. Arguably the best driver of the lot, unquestionably the unluckiest.
It's a shame, he was a great (dark horse) if you will, and had immense potential, him vs MSC in Canada was awesome, people can argue about the intensity of that battle, but that is just F1, and sh*t happens here.
That was one of my highlights of the season. He was absolutely on the limit all weekend. All through practice, quali and every lap of the race he was more committed than any other driver, and he never looked like having a scrape with the armco.
That quali lap has to be one of the best I've ever seen. What would really put the cherry on the cake is if they had V10's
I would love to see Schumi on the podium this year. But for this to be a vintage season we need to see lots of Hamilton vs Alonso action
Kubica's not a dark horse, anybody who has a clue about F1 knows that he's possibly the best driver in the grid. I hope that he comes back stronger than before, and Ferrari sign him!
* Certainly start to feel that way huh. Been sifting through old motorsports mags and trawling through old gp's just to pass the time. Seems to be taking forever to come around.* Listen, if your interested and might have missed it My Life: Boy racers. BBC iplayer from yesterday bbc2 http://www.bbc.co.uk/mobile/iplayer/episode/b00zgy75 Help pass the time. It's only 1/2 an hour, but worth viewing k:
