To be honest, instead of focussing on 'who' starts threads, maybe you and others should just look at what the thread is about.

As soon as I saw HBA on the bench, I expected somebody to have started a thread about it. They hadn't, so I did. Not everyone reads this thread and might not be aware. You do know that dont you?

Also, I must be the only person on here that doesnt even look at who starts threads but just the thread itself. I dont care who writes em!..............but obviously you can spot a Tash thread a mile away.

What the ****!? This thread sometimes gets over 100 guests on match days! How can anyone not know of its bloody existence, when people who aren't even members the site know of it?

The reason no one started a thread was because, we were discussing it on here. Where everything to do with a match, on a match day before, and during the game is discussed.

I wish Jamie Redknapp would just quit. He offers sod all as a pundit.

There's a designated thread to discuss all things game related but you never use it :)

Doesn't bother me in the slightest to be honest because I have the ability to ignore something I don't want to read but surely you can see how it annoys some folk.

Benny's head is clearly not screwed on right. He had his chance to prove himself at Blackburn but something has happened in training.

Can we try and keep the thread focussed on the match, rather than arguing where we should or shouldn't discuss the match?

Hoping for a Best goal today, he needs to get back on track scoring wise. Pleased to see Santon starting again today, he has been really impressive the last few games.

Bit worried that the pitch could be too slippery. Anyway, keeping SWP quiet is the key if we do that i'm sure we can control the midfield.

To be a pundit you have to offer sod all, it's in their contract.

This! SWP is by far and large their main threat today. Mackie can be a bit of a handful on his day. But, I dont think he's anything our defense can't handle

In which case dropping Ben Arfa is a sensible move, a wet pitch won't suit him at all!

I'm hoping one or both of our strikers scores, we need somebody establishing themselves as a decent stop gap for Ba's absence.

Pardew - 'The individual isn't emphasised here'

    On Hatem:

"My feelings are, the pair that have started today can make a real impact today, but I've got a perfect option if I don't feel that route is working...He's a nice bit of armory to have"

    Long ball football?

Or Paul Scholes. I don't know which one Martin Tyler wants to rim the most.
