Reports saying Arsenal turned down a £3m bid from Zenit for Arshavin. Apparently they want £6m. Worth a cheeky bid? I know he is out of favour atm but he has great technical ability which we seriously lack, an eye for goal (he scores for fun against us) and for £6m would be a steal i think. He is better than Downing and Kuyt so why not?
But for £6m It doesn't really matter if he flops. It's not like we are losing a fortune like we have with Carroll And Downer
I think the main problem also is his girlfriend doesn't like living in England. He's a decent player but I don't think he'd be the difference between getting fourth place and not, He'd just add to depth. We need to look at players who will improve us and not buy a second rate player who has been consistently bad! I've watched him play a few times this season and he drifts in and out of games a lot and has very bad end product. If it was for a free, maybe. For now I'd rather us spend big on 1 player than spend the same amount on 2 Squad players.

nope, not interested. The guy is not bohtered, not working, over wieght and generally has proved WHY if a players value dropped from 20-10mil to get him sold then beware (in jan when wenger says only self serving players are bought btw) well.... great edbut... whats he done since?

nope don't agree but then thats ok. Look just cos kuyts legs are done cannot be areason to buy a guy whos that lazy, that disinterested and to be frank just as past it. That is what i think. downing is not doing anyhting like what he did at villa and i thin kthe big moeny big club has gone to his head totally.... I'd drop him but again i'd not buy that guy to replace him, i'd just stick in maxi.

No thank you. Rather spend that on someone like Jordan Rhodes. Although he is in a lower league, he looks like he has a bit of pace and power and knows how to stick the ball in the net. Wouldn't be too much of a gamble at that price and would still have a sell on value if things didn't work out.
