I don't expect you to answer these questions itelligently, you're a Hull fan

brilliant, you spotted a typo - well done

Cheated the system? we won games pal.

Yeah ok I'll take the hit for the admin business.

Hull are perfect though, they've never endangered people's jobs or livelihoods for the sake of paying big wages, you came so very close though and your precious whiter than white club would have done exactly the same

We have money and we're spending it, it's called ambition. So far it hasn't gone to plan and now we look like mugs - I'll accept that. I for one (and probably the majority of other Leicester fans) never thought it was a foregone conclusion that we would go up so don't tar us all with the same brush.

If Hull had loads of cash to spend, you would do exactly the same thing. It takes time and patience to put a good side together and now we have the financial clout we have a better talent pool to choose from.

Cheers, I will have a nice day. Love you too xxxx

If you are going to accuse someone of lacking intelligence, it's probably advisable to check your own post for errors. <laugh>

my point being that it is easy to make a simple error when typing, if I sat here pointing out every little minute error of everyone's posts then I would be here for ever, I would also be as pathetic as you and your band of wind-up ****s who spend more time telling us how **** we are than on their own board.

Try looking at the above posts, my error in not typing an "n" has already been brought to everyone's attention. For someone who thinks he is holier than thou, you are a little slow on the uptake

We have paid all our Debts to the detriment of our Team and are now rebuilding, when we could of taken the easy option of administration, but we did it the right way. Money alone won't get you promoted.

I was expecting this. Just goes to show how that local football journalists tend to be gobshites who speculate about anything. If the likes of Stringer had any real inside knowledge they would have known that this had fallen through because the club doctor did not have a medical for Billy lined up in his schedule. They would also know that Donny were offering him 25k to stay put.

No it won't but it will be a key factor. That's lovely that you paid your debts off, thank god for a rich Egyptian or whoever he is.

We are spending money, any other club would be foolish not to do the same in our position, even your precious Hull

Spending wisely would seem to be a more successful option than the Leicester way.

I completely agree, some of the players we have brought in haven't fired. We have improved the defence but far too many midfielders have come in who don't have a clue and this is where we are lacking deperately.

My point is that IF Hull City had a massive cash injection, they would spend it as well. We tried to buy good championship defenders (Mills, Danns etc) but it has been proven that you can't judge ability on form alone

...but how long did it take Nigel to turn Hull around?... good luck to you I say, I think he has built a great foundation and left it in very good hands, so good luck to Hull and I mean that, decent club and fans, now we have to start the rebuilding of LCFC, I just hope the owners keep faith in him for it to take place, Nigel may not be the most flamboyant manager, but we got most of our past glory's through being hard to beat, never quitting and grinding out results, with a few decent bit's of play along the way and to be honest, as long as you are winning all the other stuff goes by... so here's to a long old season of eating humble pie as we were expecting it all to be so much better, but as a fan of 50 years I've seen high and lows, this is just another dip before the rise !!

No IF about it, we've had several cash injections, the last was very recently. Experience and a lack of respect for the Premier dream, leaves most of us preferring the more frugal and sustainable route than the brash, flash the cash route that tends to just attract the avaricious.

Barmby had millions available for him to spend in this window, yet all he's done is bring two players in on loan and looking at one more on a permanent for around half a million. So just because you have the resources doesn't mean you should waste them on mediocre players. Barmby has said he'll only spend the money if the right player comes along. Unfortunately, it looks like Nige won't be able to do that and will have to buy anyone half decent who's actually willing to go to Leicester. Desperate times ...

Pearson tried to get Danns to the Tigers in the summer - so i hope you lot rate him still.
Also i suppose it is a fault of NP trying to play a system he developed at Hull City with players at Leicester .
I read a few arn't happy with the lone striker option , i think NP tried this last season too and was mostly slated as we didnt have enough possession
nor did we get the ball up the channels enough.
Oh and he preferred to play Koren in a position he publicly stated as not being for him - for your sakes i hope he loses some of his pigheadedness
and stop hitting square pegs into round holes.

****s sake, you are all missing the point.

Great to Hull have money to spend. They will spend it if what you say is true. It is just a matter of time before Barmby gets his targets and they go for players, maybe not this window or next but eventually they will.

As for your "mediocre players", some of these guys had huge reputations when they signed and if some of them signed for you i am sure you would have been telling anyone who would listen how good they were going to be. Ambition breeds optimism. For whatever reason we are playing like dog **** at the moment. Players will be more than willing to sign for us due to the wages on the table - Billy Sharp aside for a second.

Why do you lot always have to turn into Leicester versus Hull?

I'll leave it here anyway as I can't be arsed with any more bull ****

A bigger reason for our turn around was the return of Adam Pearson and his work on re-balancing the budget and shifting on expensive players that had previously been reluctant to move.

Looking at the current predicament at Leicester where players don't seem to want to go to despite big cash inducements, it's possible Nigels biggest contribution was his arrival meant previously settled players suddenly became keen to leave.
