I was surprised he didn't manage a Prem team for a while. He has made a great impact on Sunderland. What's your opinion on Brendan Rogers? Looking at Swansea's teamsheet, they are relegation-battle material but he does a great job and lets them play attacking football with a stable defence + gets results.
Hell no, if he was anywhere near as good as Wenger he would have come 4th with Aston Villa considering the money they spent. Good manager no doubt but wait until his honeymoon period ends at Sunderland before jumping to conclusions.
To the consternation of some, I think Wenger will be at Arsenal for another 5-10 years personally. But when the time does come, I'd like to see Guardiola as manager, with Bould as assistant. Adams, Keown, Bergkamp and Henry as coaches When Wenger retires, I think he will do just that. He's an all or nothing type of person and I can't see him settling for a bit part elsewhere in the club to be honest.
I think O'Neill manages England before he manages Arsenal, and that's a job he should have got before the jokers at the FA appointed McClaren
Hey **** off! He's a ****e manager, no tactics, no motivation, to old, going bald, wears glasses, stay well clear..
I remember a disgruntled Middlesbrough fan walking down the touchline during a game throwing his season ticket at McClaren in disgust at his shambolic management of their club. A couple of months later, the FA had appointed McClaren as England manager.
Think that's why they're called FA Back on topic - I've always liked Martin O'Neill and think we would be a good fit at The Emirates.
Ive always said that I though O Neil would be a good option. Who knows what he could do with a decent budget at a big club like Arsenal.
I reckon Thierry Henry has to be in with a shout. What he lacks in experience he would make up for in enthusiasm. He can be our version of King Kenny (but better of course)
