when he's happy, I'm happy. On the happy bus.... On a side note, Forest should have kept McClaren, Cotterills no better but far more annoying.
Davies left because he didn't think the board were backing him enough and they got into a bit of an argument, I don't think it was ever due to results, ps Davies is also a massive **** for the play off semi final getting his players to kick ours off the park
I really don't like Billy Davis, but if he managed your team, you'd love him. They fell out with a manager that two seasons running got them into the play-offs; sometimes you need to be careful what you wish for.
Adkins is great and his interviews are always good value and his smile at the end of last nights interview on the FLS was as wide as the itchen bridge
Apart from his obvious managerial ability, his positivity, transmitted to the players and fans, is a major asset. Probably got him hired in the first place. He is rarely controversial so will never be a media darling like other PL managers (did you see what I did there). He said in another interview that he shouldn't have got involved in the fracas after the sending off. On FLS, we only saw Cotterill yelling...I expect Adkins raised an annoyed eyebrow.
At the moment Cotterill is looking at the sack - Forest in the bottom 3 at this stage of the season is shocking - they should be competing for the play-offs. Shows what happens if you have no stability at a club. Should never have sacked Davies
As said previously, his positivity is a massive plus. It may well annoy some opposing fans but better that he does the happy chappy bit than some of the more moody examples we see in my opinion.
