I think the Coventry result last week did us the world of good. People were saying they wanted us out of the cup - I disagreed, saying we needed to win to boost confidence - it clearly did. Now we have a chance to regain momentum at just the right time.

Same, Harding looked excellent, and had the Forest defenders wrong-footed on a number of occasions. No qualms playing him out there until Richardson is fully fit.

    I meant the play offs.

There's about 10 teams going do the play offs so it's exciting to watch

Two good games and practically anyone can get back in it; there's little separating 6th and 15th. Speaking of 15th, pretty funny to see Leicester, who I have it on good authority was going to walk the league, currently occupying that spot.

The more sides that are in it, the better. Increases the chances of the sides below the top 4 dropping points, which in turn decreases the chances of this 4-horse race turning into a 5 or 6-horse race. Just holding off two of West Ham, Cardiff and Boro will be hard enough!

They seem not to have a match thread. Either it vanished after the loss, or their effort has gone the way of their players.

It looks like History Repeating is trying to wind them up with snide hints about Sven!

That doesn't surprise me. All I ever seem to come across on their board are arguements and WUM threads between themselves and Hull fans. Neither of them really seem to care about anything else.

Leicester's continued self-destruction is pretty amazing. I'm finding it hard to feel sorry for them. One win in eight!

Their results under Sven don't look half bad now.

I remember one of their fans telling me that them and West Ham were going to "dominate" the league.<laugh>

He was half right, at least.

Great stuff against Forest, but I'm still a bit pissed about the live stream cutting out.

We looked good from what I did see and I'll take Merrington's word for it that the rest was very good.

We dominated after the second goal, and it could have easily ended up 4-0 or even 5-0, if not for a couple excellent saves and chances not taken; Aaron Martin whiffed on an absolute sitter with an open goal, and Camp took away a couple with fingertip saves.

Overall we seemed to be more aggressive in the final third; rather than looking for the perfect cross on to the head of Guly or Lambert, players were taking more shots and playing the ball along the ground with more frequency and at a faster pace. Think that helped a bit...in recent times I think that we've been a bit too predictable around the box, but today we had Forest scrambling this way and that to keep up with our passing game.

For those that haven't seen it yet, the red card is in this video. For some reason the three goals we scored weren't part of the reason that they lost.
