Is there only one Super Mod? For a forum this size? That's a bit excessive. I've been admin as part of a 3 or 4 man 'team' on a couple of forums a quarter the size of this and we had our work cut out.
You've got previous on this kind of thing, Bidley? You kept that quiet. If we have to have a mod (which I don't think we do), you've just won my vote! If we do ever decide to have a mod, it should be one of the more reasonable types on the board, in my opinion, not someone who flies off the handle and gets heated up.
It's all relative, Bandy. Some are more prone to verbal pyrotechnics than others. I'm not going to start naming names though.
Yeah, I've done it on a couple of Metal forums (which can be nearly as bad as it gets on the bigger clubs' boards - I say nearly, bearing in mind Metal forums house a lot of ****ty American teenagers!) but we always had a bit of tangible power. Then again, they were a bit smaller than this forum, as I said. Agreed, the best mods are the ones who have a bit of restraint.
