Davis - 7 - Not much to do but pretty solid apart from that one kick straight out
    Harding - 7/8 - Looked good today
Martin - 7 - I thought shaky in first half but solid in second
Hooiveld - 7 - Good game, great block in first half at 1-0
Fox - 6 - Quite a few long needless clearances for my liking
Lallana - 6/7 - Seemed quiet to me but also made some good passes/ general play making
Cork - 9 MOTM - Great game, controlled the midfield well
Schnidelin - 8 - Very good game, good strike for the goal as well
Hammond - 7 - Solid, quiet at times.
Guly - 7 - Good goal, pretty quiet apart from that id say
Connolly - 8 - Great work rate, great goal, nice to see him back on form!

Holmes - No rating but some nice touches when came on
    Reeves - Too little time
    Butterfield - Too little time.

    Thoughts? <ok>

Agree with all I think lallana was a 6 in the first half a 7 in the second.

Holmes needs to learn how to kick a ball with his right foot would have scored if he hit his chance first time on his right instead of shifting it to his left and forcing the save.

Adkins 10/10 I would have played de ridder and butterfield with fox/harding on the left today. That shows why he's manager and im not!

I agree with all those ratings - Cork was outstanding today, also today proved how much we have missed Connolly

Had a good live feed and those ratings look about right. No two ways about it, we've missed Connolly: he looked shattered at the end, really put in a shift, a MOM performance IMO. Two notes of caution, EVERYTHING went for us today which evens up the Brighton game (even the score) and Forest looked poor to me, far worse than the home game with them. Still, you can only play what's in front of you - also great away support ONWARDS AND UPWARDS

I thought Lallana looked a lot more brighter today than he has done. Slowly but surely he's getting back to his old self, Schneiders played well as did Harding and connelly however cork was absolutely smashing today, worked hard great hold up play and generally bossed the right side with Harding. Onwards with the saints

Before the game I was thinking that it was the same old team and we would struggle without Rickie. Yet again Nigel proves me wrong.

Even when I disagree with the team or something im never worried with him, I just remind myself its not same old saints and we'll be alright with Nigel in charge, what a manager.

I think 10/10 for Adkins is under-rating him!

I'd have to disagree with the Lallana rating. Sounded involved in everything when we went forward.

I have just listened to the cotterill interview. As usual blaming the Referee. As usual blaming every one else except themselves.
Would not even acknowledge that Southampton showed them how to play football by passing it around in the second half in particular. Not sure what planet that man is on.

He is probably trying to instill some us against everyone else mentality and create some brinkmanship in the club, he cannot always come out and say his players are not good enough. I am not saying that I don't think Cotterill could be more gracious but you know what he is like!

I probably shouldn't be giving out my ratings as my stream kept going off and on in 2nd half, but here are my rating from what I saw.
    Davis-7-made some important saves
Hooiveld-7-made one or two mistakes from made up from them
    Martin-6.5-Played alright,made some good interventions.
Harding-7-good runs and good link up play.
    Fox-7-solid performance
Cork-7.5-Some great movement from him and layed the ball off for first goal.
Hammond-7-Another solid performance from our captain.
Lallana-7.5-Lovely movement and passing at times from saints number 20.
Schneiderlin-7.5-Great player that had a great game and got on the scoresheet aswell.
    Connolly-9-MOM,superb movement,link up play,tremendous work rate and scored a real striker's goal.
Guly-7-Work really hard and never gave up even when things weren't going according to plan.Well done.

brilliant performance by everyone today, great goal by morgan, lallana played much better, and connolly was a handful, man of the match was probably cork who was instrumental in our play, and we've still got Ricky at the bar!

Schneiderlin is a god. I seriously believe he would hold his own in the prem. Quick, young , can tackle, superb passer, great work rate , and as he has proven today he has a thunderbolt of a shot.

Hope they don't outlaw tackling before he gets there, that would be rude.
By the way its going, the might though.
