From the article in the DT this morning, Wenger is clearly highlighting Spurs as a club that is getting the better of the fixture list, but isn't man enough to say it directly: prefers to allude to it by giving specific examples of 'a club' playing on a friday when they have to play on the Sunday - then allowing the reporter to fill in the dots..... Not only a Whinger, but a Coward!!
Kyle....we played chelsea inwill thursday 22nd Dec ... your 3 games after xmas were at home to wolves and qpr and away to fulham....we played away to swansea and norwich and home to wba we then both played at home in the fa cup and then we played v everton....so from 22nd dec until til tonight you have played 42 matches and we have played 7. Suggests wenger us whining again...without foundation again.
Didn't Redknapp complain about how much money Man city have the other day when according to Transfer League.co.uk, Spurs are third in the table of big-spending clubs since 2008?
As YV says, no. Transferleague's full of mistakes anyway, but it also doesn't include wages, which is the biggest factor. Chelsea outspend us by about £100m a year in that department.
Oh and as I mentioned before, Chelsea had 2 extra days to prepare before playing us, Norwich had one, Swansea had none and we had an extra day before West Brom so we weren't exactly lucky with our fixtures.
