One of the worst Premier League teams that will come to SJP looking at the players they have available with key players out?

    ------------------ Kenny -------------------
    Young---Gabbidon---One Size---Hill
    SWP-------Derry------Buzsaky------Mackie
    -----------Macheda---Helguson---------------

Without SWP and maybe Luke Young, that is a Championship team!

Surely we have to looking at the 3 points here, I know it's easier said than done and every game is tough in the Premiership and all that.. but this should be a win.

Cabaye and Guthrie/Gosling/Abeid should dominate the centre of midfield..

Confident with SWP going up against Santon or Simpson, as he tore Raylor apart when we played them last time because he just didn't have the pace. Also will be interesting to see if SWP starts on the left for them because if Ben Arfa starts on the right and doesn't track back it could cause us problems. So hoping it's Jonas and Santon dealing with SWP and that he starts on the right against us.

Shola and Best could cause endless problems for the centre backs and think it will be important for us to start with two big men up front.. Remember Gabbidon trying to deal with Carroll when we went down to West Ham last year? Or when Best scored a hat-trick playing against him at SJP??

The thing I'm looking forward to the most though would be Ben Arfa on the right against Clint Hill. With Traore out you not only have a player coming in that hasn't played much this season.. he also doesn't have much pace and I could really see Hatem ripping him apart! (hopefully)

So looking at that.. here would be my team to start on Sunday:

    ----------------------- Krul ----------------------
    Simpson---Williamson---Coloccini---Santon
    Ben Arfa------Cabaye----Guthrie/Abeid----Jonas
    --------------------Best---SHOLA!--------------------

Subs: Elliot, Raylor, Perch, Guthrie/Abeid, Ferguson, Obertan, Vuckic

Could be ideal to bring Obertan off the bench against an already tired Hill who hopefully will have had a difficult time dealing with Ben Arfa. Would give Obertan a bit of confidence! Would love to see Ferguson come on at some point too, haven't seen much of him for a while and he always seemed to impress when he played last season.

Macheda's no slouch, he's just no Danny Wellbeck, so he didn't break into the 2nd best strike force in the premier league. No shame there.

I think they will line up like this:

    Kenny

    Young - Ferdinand - Gabbidon - Hill

    Mackie - Derry - Buzsaky - Swp

    Helgusson - Macheda

    Very beatable team!

Is Ferdinand back, thought he was injured? Still he's never looked good against us, especially for the unwashed!

that central midfield looks weak as piss, hopefully whoever steps into ours in place of tiote will help us to control that battle

I have a feeling Gosling will be given a run out in this game as Guthrie is still just coming back from injury but would not be surprised to see Guthrie make an appearance at some point

As much as I expect us to thrash them, I think we all know this is going to be an underwhelming goalless draw.

I like Mackie, he works hard. Reminds me a lot of Bellamy, so he'll probably score. SWP is good too. Other than that, player for player, he should storm it

Yeah although we have a better team, I think they will be quite defensive and try to frustrate us. I'm thinking similar to the Swansea game.

I rate Mackie though. Seems like a tryer and is a bit unlucky.

Obertan will start on the right.

Pardew reckons that HBA dosnt put enough tracking back work in.
