Well, first there is the 25. If you looked at the 25 that started the season, that was a pretty strong, decent 25. And there you do have the reserves. May be he started being lackadaisical in the Reserves, and wanted to get first team matches rather than play 2nd fiddle, so they offered him a chance for that with a move? At the very least, he definitely was surplus at the very beginning, and people are allowed to change their minds and the 25 had been set. People can change their minds. And I am also prepared to do so if I see something a little more than I am seeing right now with MH. Ephraim now has a chance. He's going to have to show it to the world then, doesn't he, instead of griping about the past? I have seen him play well down the left on a number of occasions, and he does have some skill, but then again he never tackles. Needs to be more a team player. Lets see what happens.

'' And there you do have the reserves'' If you were QPR you would say 'we' instead of ' there.' and you did it again in the second line.
He is an obvious imposter that has been found out.
    Get rid mods.

Will take a while but soon most will understand how it all went wrong under NW nice bloke but ****ed up big time ... His ego at the club not in general life got the better of him me thinks ... NW chose Puncheon over Hogan ... This lad could be outstanding yet NW dismissed him as being too small ... Lucas and Modric ate giants are they ... Great to see if he gets a chance

He deserves to be playing first team football somewhere. Just not with us. Wish we'd just let these players go if someone wants them. Its their careers we're trashing.

There's alot of this sort of thing when the manager changes. All the players, especially those who have been on the fringes, start jockeying for position, put in more effort in training, use the media to improve their profile, etc, etc.

Hughes will make his decision once he has seen them all in training and after any new arrivals have been signed. End of.

Hogan would be best advised to shut up, work hard and see what happens. If he is still surplus to requirements then let him go and resume his career elsewhere.

Articles like this don't do anyone any favours.

At least he's speaking up for himself, and speaking out.
Hope he's not taking Twitter lessons from our esteemed skipper...

I can't believe we've had so many posts about a player who has been with us four years and never been a first team regular. If he was PL quality he would have been in the first team last season, he was just a squad player who made 19 starts in 46 games and ended up being loaned out, if he was PL quality he'd have been starting double that amount at least. He made more appearances in his first two seasons in a poor side, that tells the tale. Charlton are welcome to him...

Ephraim: “With the new manager I see it as a clean slate and I want to try to impress.”

I want to try to impress! WTF does that mean? Why do footballers always use language like 'hopefully' and the like? It really pisses me off, interview after sodding interview on MOTD etc. Why can't they say,"I am going to put in the work and really impress the new manager"? It doesn't impress me when they say,"I am going to try to put in the work and hopefully if I can give 110% the new manager will hopefully try to see that I am trying to impress him by giving 110% and setting out my stall".

    Aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh!

    Nursey, my medication and quick.

would prefer to see him given a chance in the new 25 man squad to see if he can prove he has what it takes to be a premiership player.......bearing in mind some of the players we have had in our first 25 man squad

Considering he plays primarily as a left winger/ aux striker then that would have been Adel's position and we all know that NW wasnt gonna drop him, and still he had 19 games out of 46 and scored a few goals one being very important when Adel was out. I feel he is more suited to this league where fast, agile players can operate with more ptoection from refs in comparison to Championship refs. Just my opinion.

Totally agree Eamon. Some players like Hogan on the fringe of the 25 start slagging off the previous Manager too. Don't expect that will help him with Mark - I hope not. If he's good enough he needs to show it in training and not by whinging.

under Di Canio he was growing into the flowing football we played then he went, Sousa rated him very highly and consdiering his age he is still releatively young and thus being the problem. I mean how many managers have the younger players had who all have their own way of playing and developing them. It is no suprise that not mo many of the youth prospects we have had have been unable to break into the team. I am hoping that he steps up to the plate and brings his undoubted ability to the table so we can dine on his ability.

i would also guess that how many chances was he given in reality for a long run in the team? he left a premiership team at the time to join us, which shows him wanting to develop and play not just sit around.

He has every right to be miffed about the fact that he was replaced in the squad by the completely random punt Warnock took on Puncheon. Will anyone ever be able to explain what that deal was about? I doubt it. That situation alone makes me doubt Warnock's PL credentials.

As I said on another strand Ephraim has threatened to become a seriously good player a few times but never quite makes the last step up in terms of quality and consistency. He seems held back by his lack of physique sadly.

NW made another error with this lad IMO I have watched him closely and I think he has some excellent qualities

Yet on here everyone seems to ****ing about a young Boy from Brazil

Hope he's not one of those hitler clones

Hogan is full of energy has a great range of passing plays very well with Taarabt ... His tackling needs work and

Scored a great volley last season from Taarabt

I get so pissed off with people who talk about premiership players
There is no such thing ....
Swansea have at least three players who could play for England in the future yet on here we want to bury our talent or send them out to lesser clubs

Fickle take a real close look at what we seem to be becoming

We have brought a few good players but ....

    Barton passed it and average
SWP ... He has to prove himself
    Dyer ... Finished
Ferdinand ... A proven failure at this level
Gabbidon... Sorry but the same why are we buying centre backs if these are good .... It was a **** up
    Puncheon ... Complete rubbish
DJ Campbell ... 13 goals sure look at them then count the ones he missed?
Bothroyd .... Like him but overshadowed by the player that most on here wanted out HH
Most of you changed your tune there and will again
A goalie from Ipswich to cover for Kenny FFS
Young and Traore have both been excellent for us

We fiddled with something that wasn't broken and that's why we are where we are IMO

Now we get a fresh start and it must be refreshing for the players who have watched the whole thing be ruined in just a short time

Fickle fans now must realise that we have to rebuild and buy ourselves a team that works very quickly that would never happen with NW I am sorry to say

Hughes has to hit the floor running and I am sure he will look at all the options including gems we have already like hogan and Mackie he will try and get Akos back and use Derry

It's a massive task lads sorry but to chuck away every player we had in a unique team the best for many years is madness ... Everyone knows you can't buy team spirit and that wins you football matches

Raining here I am coming home
