I suppose so, but it seems pretty pointless. I'd never pay a few hundred for a card on a video game. People must have money to waste.
They do, and that's why they made ultimate team free and included at launch, they make insane amounts on packs.
Great game, but weirdly i cannot master it. I am a driving game god (regularly inside the top 500 gran turismo players on ranked time trials) but i can't get to grips with it.
I thought it was a bit ****, actually. Reflexive timing ruined races if you weren't at the front. I wanted a hard core simulator, but it wasn't anything like that. Handling was always to twitchy, for a start - F1 cars should be planted, it was **** how unpredictable they were. I read they were trying to avoid this in 2012, but dunno about reflexive timing. I want maximum realism, and a predictable game I can learn. In F1 2011, I was guaranteed a spin every session - before hand I was a driving game specialist. Not played one since - honestly, I find driving down the high street to Asda at least as much fun. And that's 90% clutch work most of the time.
You have to compare it to F1 2010, which was a little bit **** if i'm really honest. Nothing really wrong with the handling, feels much better than 2010, and the cars feel far more stable. However, i'd much rather stick with gt5, winding people up playing online using this ****box; please log in to view this image Mine's ferrari red though.
Haha stupid me. I meant F1 2010, I haven't played '11. Didn't realise it was so long ago. P.S. Absolutely love original Fiat 500s. Such a brilliant thing. Like a Mini, without the cliche.
