Inspecting again at 11 by the sound of it. Nightmare for racegoers and stables alike. Not good.

First Race is 12.30 - Getting the covers off in 90 mins. That'll take something. For me it will be abandoned.

Sparky they only have covered a few areas. If the nackers had of covered the whole track they would have been able to race. Warwick got down to -5 but covered the track and are fine <ok>. Barney Clifford biggest tosser ever

RV, aren't both tracks owned by the same company and don't they have one pair of full covers between them? Chose Warwick over Kempton?

Just rewatching last weeks Lingfield Saturday card, I am so tempted to put one up in the sprint. Do I bother?

Im just up the road from Kempton and very surprised it is under any threat at all. Went to the park first thing and didnt even cross my mind any sport would be affected. I would have been happy playing rugby on the ground put it that way.

Despite the fact it would **** C4 plans up, would it not be worth moving Kempton's card back half an hour - so run the 12.30 @ 1.00, and the last race at 4.15? That would work if there is a real chance.

I think you're on to summat there sparky. That way as well us London commuters wouldn't have to get the train til after 11. Think I'll be doing that anyway.

Tempted by lingfield but am going to plumpton on Monday so will get my fix there. Less tempted by the leyton orient option!

Nass not sure mate <ok> yes put the sprint up. Did you see yesterday TREBLE JIG win a listed at Jebel Ali by 10 lengthsalways held in high regard by SMS but never really fired. Sold out of his yard for just 11k lol.

Odddy <laugh> <ok>. Market on betfair suggesting every chance Kempton could go ahead now (more fancied to race than not)

1.25 Warwick FRASCATI PARK 3/1 (BOG)

Although there are only seven runners for this novice chase it promises to be a fascinating race as several horses may still have plenty more to offer. This is certainly the case in regards to the Emma Lavelle trained Court Victory, he won a point to point back in March 2010 and looked unfortunate to lose the race in the stewards room after finishing first past the post on his first start for his current connections at Uttoxeter back in December. He travelled like a dream throughout that race and jumped his fences superbly well. He looked to have the race won easily before tiring late on and causing interference to Mister Hyde (126) which prompted him to be demoted in to 2nd place. He perhaps needed that outing and whilst he has plenty to find today with a few of these he looks an exciting prospect for the future and receives weight from his main rivals. However I have to be against him today.

The horse I am backing is Frascati Park who was a real smart hurdler at his best and has looked equally as good over the larger obstacles so far. This horse has his quirks but he has a serious amount of talent as well and I am really looking forward to seeing him over 3m today. I have always thought this horse would be better over a trip like this which I suppose makes his victories over shorter trips much more impressive. In November 2010 he defeated Sprinter Sacre over 2m3f at Ascot with Poungach back in third place. Over fences he has a victory over Bold Sir Brian who has won two races since including the defeat of Lie Forrit. He has also beaten Kudu Country by 14 lengths who is not flattered by his rating of 135 judging by his effort at Southwell going down a short head to the 141 Eradicate. Frasacti Park’s latest outing seen him finish 3rd behind Zaynar in a Grade 2 at Ascot beaten 10 lengths. The winner was impressive that day and was in a different league, however the 2nd horse Kumbeshwar is a very good horse in his own right and was only a length in front of Frascati Park who was giving him 10lbs. Looking back at the replay the selection did all the donkey work as the only one trying to chase down Zaynar a long way from home and he may well be value for better than the 10 length defeat, it was an impossible task considering he was also conceding 4lbs to the winner. Although this is a fair race today it is an easier task and he may well be able to get an easy lead, he will relish the conditions and for me he is the one they all have to beat.

As I said in my much less eloquent write up at the top of the thread, I have him as an EVS shot today, can't believe he is 3s this feels like lump on time if racing goes ahead
