Got my Welsh mate into football and Celtic when he moved to Scotland! He lives in Oz now and is a member of his local CSC! When on honeymoon in Cuba talked to two gardeners about football, so gave them my FourFourTwo magazine with an article about Celtic in it and my Celtic view... not sure if the two of them are converts but they where interested!
Cuba, are you Havana laugh? Did you see the big Spider-man lookin thing painted on a rock? I have done a bit of promotion for the Hoops in Cuba as well.
It was my honeymoon too. I had a week in Havana doing all the stuff I wanted to do and a week in a resort.....It felt like an open prison to me. All that ping pong and pool. Old romantic that I am, c'mon love. Lets go and find this: please log in to view this image and we did...... I am so utterly predictable.
What do you think? i had to ****ing knock her out cause i couldn't afford rohypnol. She wouldn't go down without a fight though, typical fat scottish bitch.
I converted my ( australian ) brother in law to the hoops while he was staying with us in scotland ; his first football match ever was the demoloition derby - he went with my mates after I had given him my ticket ; obviously, I DIDNT KNOW IT WAS GOING TO BE THE DEMOLITION DERBY WHEN I MADE THAT DECISION
I was flying down to London after a cup match against them a few years back.I brought a mate from London with me and I think I won him over that day too. At the airport I got chatting to this Aussie bucko who had travelled from Brisbane for the game all by himself. There was a rather large simian shaped creature getting on the plane at the same time. This Aussie bucko just enquired "Hard day mate?" I know that in itself is not funny, but the delivery was impeccable. To make matters worse for the animal it turned out I knew about 5-6 more folk on the plane and we all were seated within a couple of rows of the ape man. I felt kind of sorry for him having to listen to joyous Timothy talking about the match for an hour.
Never seen that. Did a few things round Havana and went to visit Che Guevar's grave but spent most of my time drinking mojitos n getting crispy skin!
I worked offshore with a guy from Canada, took him down to the Braga game at Celtic Park last year. He's been to more games than me this season now. The only game of football he'd been to before that was an Aberdeen/Killie SPL game at Pittodrie on a Monday night. It was a 0-0 draw in the rain.
