There was that one game. Bayern Munich i actually liked Gibbo for the only time in his united career. Two goals in the first 10 minutes or something like that. Magic. We then then ruined it by going out, but still. In the end though his once in a blue moon great goals were about all he could do and they weren't even near often enough to justify him.

If the price is any more than 1 million we've ripped Everton off.

He was excellent against Schalke in the second leg last year. His pass to valencia for the first goal, was sublime.

IMO gibbo when given a run started to show certain qualities. It was bit like nani and anderson in the early days when they were inconsistent maily due to not getting a regular start

I can actually see gibbo doing well at everton if he gets a run of games

either way, good luck to the lad. Not his fault he got picked or didnt

IMO he's good enough to play regularly for a mid table team, but wasn't ever gonna be anymore than 4-5th choice at United. Wish him the best of luck at Everton.

this is why i felt some of the treatment he got was unfair.

it was the same with oshea, and how we could have done with him still here with all the injuries

Gibson tried, but Lampard already had dibs on the circle...

Same with Evans imo - for a 5th choice CB he's pretty damn good, particularly considering what a liability Savic (City's 4th choice) is turning out to be...
