I sat behing Ian Brown (stone roses, it's a band for those older folk) in the stretford end at Old trafford against Norwich this season, he glared at me when I stood up and got over excited when Pilks had the great chance to put us ahead.
They reformed at the end of last year and are doing some gigs/festivals this year. And I do believe the tickets sold out quicker than, erm, erm, Justin Bieber would have
gotta love a bit of ian brown, love his stuff in collaboration with unkle, such as... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WwCW9OxYJnQ
Perhaps he was feeling a bit of F.E.A.R. Anybody else find seeing them together at the reunion press conference made you feel very old? Really hoping the reunion doesn't turn out to be about monkey man's 'tuning issues' (shudders at thought of Squire in one key and Brown in another)
I guess I better throw my Stone Roses and Ian Brown albums away as at 60 I wouldn't appreciate them. I wish I hadn't gone to see them live either as I must have looked a complete twat at my age! When did music start then Longsight?
